That really depends on the architecture of it. If I were a betting man, I would say they separated the processing of the motion sensing from the CPU of the Xbox, and then just fed the results into the 360. Making it modular independent processing of what the input from 3D motion cam takes in, what it means, and how the Game handles that information. In other words, the add-on handles the processing your worried about. Then send results to game.

I have a PS3 currently. I had a Wii prior to the PS3 and sold my Wii. The Wii I think was a Fad. most Wii owners don't even use their systems after the novelty wears off. This will certainly attract new fans to the Xbox Platform. My question is how much will the add-on cost? The PS3 lost tons of market share because they came out with a system that was too expensive.
@erics01 a lot of it is in the software (something sony almost never does, which is why the PS3 is so expensive). but since its a lot of software, its way cheaper than if it was mostly hardware.
No i dont think this is gonna be as big a succsess as people are making out. Sorry man, but 360 is a cash cow. First off, PC is where true gaming is at. That's the real definition of gaming. You haven't experienced gaming until you played PC.
Now that aside. 360 has like no exclusives and most of the exclusives go to PC (which is a good thing :P). PS3 has tons of exclusives and has the better graphics compared to 360 and wii and is more mature. Wii is lol. But I admit, it has some good first party games coming this year, but otherwise, it's lol@wii.
The new Zelda game is going to destroy this idea and we will see if hardcore gamers are going to buy this thing, in my opinion Microsoft should make the other console instead of this

That would be good for the living room, and fun if it was combined with the non motion controlled Xbox 360 Controller. For example accellerate with the controller but stear by moving the controller in a veichle based game.
It's not as bad as everybody say, but this idea would not appeal for the hardcore gamers who most of the time play shooter games like Modern Warfare 2.
But it's a must have if the price isn't going to be too high.

Sorry if this wasn't covered, but the Godzilla game was a simple tech demo. It will probably never come out. Also the boy wasn't actually playing the game then (I assume) it was to simply show how the camera could be used in distance. As for the arguement with FPS' I'll stick the my pad/keyboard and mouse.
Honestly? I think that Natal is going to be a kind of a commercial flop. Because? Wii is way more popular, and Microsoft is making a rip-off of Wii ideas, such as motion-sensor gameplay and the Miis. And it may be expensive. I'm not saying that it is goin' to be bad, but i think that Natal is going to flop. But I have to give props to my country, Brazil, cuz' the chief of the project is brazilian, and he was born in a city in Brazil called Natal (hence the project name).
@damicroquete2 They're actually saying it's going to be quit reasonably priced. Almost certainly subsidised. It depends how serious they are. Wii's sensitivity and immersion was both impressive and poor at the same time. If the games really are as good as their demos suggest then they could be on to something but I suspect the technology could be too ambitious.

Sorry man, but 360 is a cash cow. First off, PC is where true gaming is at. That's the real definition of gaming. You haven't experienced gaming until you played PC.
Now that aside. 360 has like no exclusives and most of the exclusives go to PC (which is a good thing :P). PS3 has tons of exclusives and has the better graphics compared to 360 and wii and is more mature. Wii is lol. But I admit, it has some good first party games coming this year, but otherwise, it's lol@wii.

That would be good for the living room, and fun if it was combined with the non motion controlled Xbox 360 Controller. For example accellerate with the controller but stear by moving the controller in a veichle based game.
It's not as bad as everybody say, but this idea would not appeal for the hardcore gamers who most of the time play shooter games like Modern Warfare 2.
But it's a must have if the price isn't going to be too high.

quite a journey it is. this will deifniteley make history and is the best out there. making this was hard. no making good games that people will buy is the hard part. what i dont get is how does natal go on ur xbox? what if u want to play a normal shooter with a controller like modern warfare 2? how do u bring up the xbox dashboard with natal? theyre going to have to make a guide that comeswith it.

i dunno. at first i gave MS the benifit of the doubt because it was a while ago, but fast forward to now and they are showing what? hit the balls game and concept renderings...

Sorry if this wasn't covered, but the Godzilla game was a simple tech demo. It will probably never come out. Also the boy wasn't actually playing the game then (I assume) it was to simply show how the camera could be used in distance. As for the arguement with FPS' I'll stick the my pad/keyboard and mouse.

Honestly? I think that Natal is going to be a kind of a commercial flop. Because? Wii is way more popular, and Microsoft is making a rip-off of Wii ideas, such as motion-sensor gameplay and the Miis. And it may be expensive. I'm not saying that it is goin' to be bad, but i think that Natal is going to flop. But I have to give props to my country, Brazil, cuz' the chief of the project is brazilian, and he was born in a city in Brazil called Natal (hence the project name).

@damicroquete2 They're actually saying it's going to be quit reasonably priced. Almost certainly subsidised. It depends how serious they are. Wii's sensitivity and immersion was both impressive and poor at the same time. If the games really are as good as their demos suggest then they could be on to something but I suspect the technology could be too ambitious.
