I love how Leon finally see's Ada after 6 years...6 long years he spent thinking she died back in that underground lab, remember, she proclaimed her feelings for him right before she let go of Leon's loving grasp and fell down into an abyss, Leon then banged on the ground with his fists and cried like a pussy....now, after these 6 years the only thing he says is "so it's true you've been working with Wesker!"... WTF!!? Not even a "nice to see you, how did you survive that 200 story fall?"

Ada confessed her feelings to Leon while "dying" and they kissed. She bleeds to "death" and Leon utters the infamous line, "AAAAAADDDDDDDAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"

See, this is what I dont get. RE2 ended with an emotional, teary goodbye between Leon and Ada. Now that they've reunited in RE4, it looked like all that chemistry that had built up in RE2 had gone sour. Now Leon and Ada are all like "I'm too cool for you" and all that shit, acting like neither of them are all that happy to see each other.

@drsc It's due to the fact that Leon discovered that Ada was alive, and what she had been doing the last few years. He's weary of her. She keeps him at a safe distance; can't make the same mistake twice. Unfortunately, it's too late considering she saves his ass constantly in her mini-game 'Separate Ways'. Her feelings for him are quite clear despite her stealing the sample from him in the end. If you think about it, he practically gives it to her, and yet he pwned her in this scene.

This fight scene is a bit longer on harder modes. But i love how Leon is lost and a bit confused in this game. But he's not like everyone else in the past. he wants to know why but he doesnt wine about how he doesnt understand and never shows fear to anyone. As a matter of fact the first boss in the game the moment he sees him he does a spinning leap kick to him with gasping or anything. Noe that's a baddass!

It's because having the same game over and over again is going to get old. Zombies can't get new. They dead, walking, and VERY bloody people. That's it, so they introduced parasites to the franchise. I say RE4 took a turn for the good. RE5 could've done something different, though. RE5 = rehash of RE4's gameplay.

RE4 took a turn for the worst. Lets look at the logic of RE4, it's an action oriented survival horror game. Action based horror games are not scary by their own design. You just want to kill more things, the ammo pick ups are everywhere, there's no aspect of survival outside of "oh I hope a boss doesn't insta-kill me with it's fuck move" they already revamped their gameplay once before RE4 so why bother tweaking it again??

Seems like you have a negative outlook on RE. RE4 had some pretty scary moments, at least in the GameCube version. The fact that you want to go retro isn't going to make Capcom revert to "In a moving train with no lights, random zombified dogs are going to eat you.". I don't remember the gameplay being revamped before RE4. It was all "Run, map switches to new angle, run, find key, run" until now.

I heavily disagree. There were no moments in any version of RE4 that scared me. The game isn't a bad game, but it's in the wrong genre, it barely has anything to do with the original Resident Evils except a few names and the company. I dislike RE4 for what it is, a 3rd person action shooter under the guise of a survival horror game. I'm sorry but if you get ammo pick ups for sub-machine guns and sniper rifles. Your game is not a survival horror game.
