You see either very small ends or very tall d ends. A small d end = a lower d end and lower d lineman are harder to block however most coaches like really tall d ends because they can reach and get people.

I play defensive end,but my coach would always yell at me because i wasn't playing it "tough and strong" I would always try to get around the End that was trying to block me,which i did,but whenever i would get to the outer feild,And make a tackle,my coach would yell at me..and tell me something new to do..its so annoying. He would tell me one thing,then another,and get me all confused. I'm pretty good,i got the speed,and i can hit.

um it depends how fast you can get. I guy from my school (Carter Street look him up, his junior highlights are on youtube) he is 6'4 240 and runs a 4.7 and committed to Louisiana Tech. The less you weigh the faster you need to run. The more you weigh the less fast you need to be. If your running a 4.9 and cant get any faster you might have to throw on 50 or 60 pounds, it all just depends

when you get into your stance kneel down on your back leg, and make your toes and your knee level ( like how they get in 40 stances) then raise ur ass up to your head lvl or higher. that will make u shoot out lower, and faster

Elder high school in Cincinnatti has the nations #1 DE thats 6'5 255, bench presses 440, runs a 4.57 40 yard dash, and has a 38" vertical leap, He is Only 2 games into his senior year and holds the state records for most sacs, and pass deflections, he is 3 away from the most forced fumbles. He got offers from OSU, Alabama, and Texas his freshman year. Elder is currently the # 3 high school team in the nation and he started varsity his 8th grade year. He is also ranked the # 7 TE in the nation.

This guy in blue is clueless. Quinn did nothing too impressive in those videos. Hes a monster so he will do well though. Chancey took on 2 blocks at a time and still made plays. To say a guy in HS at 6,2 220 is too small for college is to be an idiot. Because a 6'2 frame can pack on 10-20 pounds in no time after high school. Physiologically HS players havent reached growth potential they are still too young. Chancey will be 235 245 in a year or 2.
