Yes it was released in small theaters back in the day. Due to rights on certain parts of the movie. The DVD was never released.

They tried to get the movie to be added to SF4, but talks failed to get it in before the release of the game.

BUT you should go to EVO in vegas, they show it almost every year. Most probably this year with the release of SF4.

A lot of money went into the making. Torrenting wouldnt be good for them. However, you should support them by coming to the events. SRK forums has a thread on events, they're usually great. And also, catch the movie during EVO, it's in the middle of July this year.
