  • AMAZING..............so sad its over...:'(

  • "Vanessa I dont know why you're mad at me." "I wish I was mad... Im just too late..." <3 Makes me cry every time.

  • "How do you get the gold shit off??" =Greatest part of the musical.

I saw this with Corbin Bleu as Usnavi, and loved it.

One of the best musicals I've ever seen. :D

  • Simply amazing!! Lin-Manuel is the best!!

  • I´m from holland, and I went to see this musical in New York like a month ago. It was absolutely fan-fucking-tastic! Goosebumps from the beginning till the end..!

  • *jaloersheid*

    (random Belgian over here!)

    I so wanna see this!

  • do you know where i could watch this fully??

i desperately want to see it but

i live in australia. haha not much chance

    i have of seeing it

  • @tutufla i have a link to the file, inbox me if you want it :)

    whole show!

  • In the heights was my first broadway show =D

  • It's a great first one to have! May I ask how old you are?

  • 14 =)

  • Aw that's awesome, I'm excited for the beginning of a life you will LOVE if you continue attending musical theatre shows!! :-)

  • "how do you get this gold shit off" my favorite line in the whole musicql

  • I love how he says it!

  • Thsi song is sooo amazing. I saw this on Broadway on my trip to NYC to perform for choir. I met the original cast. They are absolutely amazing & extremely sweet. Especially Javier, the replacement for Lin. Lin is deff. my role model!! :)

  • Im glad you love it so much I feel the same way! I havent seen javier, i really want to :-)

  • Javier is a REALLY good Usnavi

He sounds a lot like Lin :)

  • oh Idnia i thought u were talking about someone else srry i know who she is im acutally listening to her songs right now

  • what did she play in rent

  • i LOVE this song, and I'm actually going to see the show in 2 weeks, it looks phenomenal!

  • Have a great time, its amazing you will love every minute!!

  • idk why,

but when i saw this i got so sad thinking about lin leaving :/

if you think about it, the song almost is about how all the Lin fans feel about him going. lol

thats how i see it :]

  • That was actually a big reason for my making it :-)

I figured, if he ever finds this video, he'll be able to look back on the journey and all he created, and this video will take him through his work and accomplishment, and the song is even appropriate you know?

So I totally agree with you that it could be about him leaving, thanks for pointing that out!

  • I met Lin when I saw the show on Wednesday, he was so nice and sweet. He signed my playbill and I took a picture with him. If you're going to see the show you have to see it before Feb 15th because he's leaving then *sob* :'-(

  • im so jealous! When i went they were getting flu vaccinations, so I couldnt get in to see them, I only met olga martinez, who told us they wouldnt be coming :-(

it was amazing to meet olga, but Lin...that would have been a dream come true

  • yeah it really was a dream come true...and Lin was just so sweet.you know how some stars are just like sign and go, pretty much running away from you?Lin was totally the opposite.Like people would be talking to him and he would stay a couple seconds and really listen and answer them, and when people complimented him and told him how amazing ITH is he said thanks and seemed really gracious and humble not cocky or anything.

  • Wow..yeah, thats what I always worry about meeting people at backdoors of Broadway shows. Im glad then, that I know he really is genuine guy. He used to be my friend's teacher! :-)

  • Omigosh seriously??You're friend is soooo lucky!!!And yeah he really was genuine, I really liked that. And since it was like Kid's Night on Broadway after the curtain call they all stayed on stage and Lin talked about his first Broadway show (Phantom of the Opera!) and how he was so glad that everyone came to see the show. He just seemed like a really nice guy. :-)

  • That's so incredibly amazing!! Thanks for sharing your story, its so cool that you got to experience that, must have been a dream! Phantom was my first show too, it really started it all for me....writing, singing, dancing, musical theatre everything :-)

  • Yeah it was a dream! And you're totally welcome, I love sharing stories like that. It's rare for me to find someone who likes Broadway too that I can share them with. My first show was Hairspray, what really started it for me was when I saw my second show, the OBC of Wicked. I idolize Idina Menzel. And I'm going to see Phantom this weekend. I'm soooo excited!! <3

  • You saw IDINA?? I would KILL for that. I do too....she has my birthday and Im one of her biggest fans, as it seems are you. Oh my Goodness I would pass out. I have always tried to go to her shows but it never works out!!!

  • Yeah she was absolutely amazing!!She's been my idol ever since!!!I saw her once in Wicked with the OBC then again in Wicked when she was the only OBC member left!!!I remember being 8 years old, and after I saw Wicked I pointed to her headshot in the program and said to my mom "Mommy, when I grow up I wanna be just like HER!" LOL I still do! <3

  • Same here man...wow im jealous, you dont even know! :-)

  • yeah :-) i didint get to meet her though cuz i was little and it was a night show so it was too lste for me. i wish i could go back in time and change that. :-) but at least i got to see her perform twice ;-)

  • Exactly, and thus my jealousy lives on, lol ;-)

  • lol :-) well there must have been some other amazing Broadway star you saw...

  • 2 weeks ago I met drew gehling, my number one broadway guy and almost passed out. He is bob gaudio in the chicago jersey boys, it waas a dream come true :-)

And in a few weeks I meet adam pascal and anthony rapp from RENT when they do an encore performance in chicago!!!!

Dontch love being a Broadway kid?? haha

  • Yes i do! haha

n omg u met adam pascal and anthony rapp!!!i am soooo officially jealous!!i love them!!!

  • omg me too it was soo amazing and they where so sweet.

  • yea wicked was my first show with kristy cates. and thats pretty much what got me into musical theater. that and rent.

  • This show is amazing...it changed my life as well, it was the 1st broadway show that i could honestly connect with the plot, and the characters

i love this show, and the music in it

i hope i can be in it one day

  • Hi i,m 10 i just want to say this show changed my life when i meet Lin he was so nice i was the first one in line to get him to sine my bag i kinda scremed when he came out i cant wait for the moive every one in this cast is soo nice i want to tell you all that you should see this on brodway soon becasue Lin is about to start filming the moive so there trying to find someone as good of a acter as him!

  • Thanks for your story, I completely agree!

  • this song is sooo great i cant believe that one guy wrote all those song i love in the heigths ;) ;)((((((((((((((((((((333333333

  • I know right? Lin's amazing, I want him to see this vid so bad, lol

  • Damn, girl, nice vid. I must say, you are right once again. The music for ITH is really great...and as you pointed out, the mix between so many genres makes it so distinctive and effective!

*Goes and looks up more ITH music 'cuz BellatrixNellieLovet has impeccable taste in musicals*

  • Thanks Ana!! yay!

  • o that's so how I am. I was listening to the opening song (ya the first one haha) my mom ask why I was crying me: "they are so inspiring and talented and amazing i want this show to run forever so my kids can see it and everyone should see it as a rule and..." My mom: "Ray you need to calm down". Haha

  • Its frustrating when you feel so much about something like this and you dont know how to make others feel the same :-)

  • I KNOW it drives me crazy. I am either bouncing up and down/dancing/singing/conducting(yes all at the same time) or crying while listen to ITH you just can't express that emotion. You feel like you are going to explode with all the passion and love the songs make you feel.

  • Exactly! Exactly

  • I am so in love with the show! Your video is one of those things you have to watch everyday just as a reminder that dreams DO come true! Thank you for the video it was inspiring!(champagne is one of my favorite songs=D)hehe

  • Oh my Gosh thank you so much! I cant tell you how happy I am after reading your comment, your welcome!! :-)

It truly is such an inspiring show you know?

  • One of the shows that after I listen to "Home" I will call up my best friend and say "I love you bestie!" her: "Rach are you listening to ith again?" haha Pm me we should talk about the show =)

  • That's exaclty how I am. The first time I heard the ending was late in my room and my mom came in because she woke up because she heard me crying. She came in and was like "whats wrong?" And I just couldnt really tell her how much nothing was wrong, that I just felt inspired and I was in awe of the story and usnavis revelation at the abuela claudia protrait

  • yay! this was amazing :)

    thank you!

    ~Denise <3

  • Thanks Denise! And your name would be a POTC quote, love u!

  • nice work - i really like this song. the pictures are timed really well!

  • Thanks!
