Digital Effects are meant to be used. I would say its not that he hides behind all those effect, It's these effects that are hiding behind his skills :D

What matters is you've got a feeling for what you're playing. That's what makes Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, all those guitarists great. They play how they play.

I think Jack's was way to standard... Don't get me wrong - He's an amazing guitarist and songwriter, but I just thought his song was kinda boring... well written, but there was other guys who were better. EX. Muris and this guy ^^

i agree about the guitar god part. not malmsteen. oziels pieces are a lot more melodic and with a lot more thought nd feeling then mindless shred. yngwie is in different class all his own. his definitely a god when it comes to technique and skill. but im not so sure about melody myself

Gosto do estilo dele, melódico, a nota certa no lugar certo, na hora certa. Existem guitarristas mais "fritadores" q ele, mas em termos de composições ele está a frente de muita gente. O Oziel iria fazer muito sucesso no Japão, seja fazendo "jingles" para comerciais ou jogos de videogames, ou mesmo tocando em shows mesmo. O povo de lá adora esse tipo de rock q ele toca.

A meu ver, o ozielzinho é extremamente melódico, mas ele fica nervoso em palco, não sei, essa é minha impressão. Tem excelente técnica e pelos guitarristas q eu dei uma olhada no site da guitar idol, vejo 3 concorrentes pra ele: Daniele Gottardo, Um colombiano e um cara da Bósnia. Eu acho q a presença em palco é muito importante, o GG tem muita presença (um dos motivos pq ganhou em 2008) e o Oziel é mais quieto. Vamos ver, meu voto com certeza será do Ozielzinho.
