  • Careful you don't end up in Turkish jail......LOL!!!

  • @TURKISHLIES301 another horrible joke ..sigh

  • yes very nice ,,, but all historical monuments are Greek

Istambul is actualy a Byzantine Greek City. The Agyia Sofia was the Greatest Greek Christian Orthodox Church build in the 500AD ,, Greek was spoken all the way up to Armenia. Ancient Cities like Smyrna, Effesos, Alikanassos where Build aprox 600BC fron the ionian Greeks

Turks came as nomands 800AD with Arp Aslan ond others

Iam an Historian so we have to be very careful about where we give credits too.

  • @deezacharo well I am an historian either and since the world was much more multi-cultural before the modernity and the nation-states, I'm pretty cautious define any monuments or any period of time with exact nationalities. I think you should do the same because in our discipline we left the classical 18th-19th century historiography approach long time ago.

  • @aporia82 so are you saying me that all the monuments in Turkey , monuments build in the 4th, 5th ,and Byzantine period, are not Hellenic ( Greek) related? Nation States? What?? Multi-Culturalism in the 4th Century? you must be kidding!!!!!

Ionian? Macedonian? Athenian? Are you saying they where not Greek? All monuments are proven to be Greek related, Architectural themes, written scriptures and so on.

I better advise you to come better prepared to Challenge the Historic Community over here!!

  • @deezacharo oh god, am I speaking to Ranke, Humboldt or Gibbon? don't you read or follow any recent historiography ? "all monuments proved to be greek related." how do you know what was the meaning of "greek" in the 4th century? how do you know people were clearly ethnically defining themselves in the ancient times? proven to be greek, how can we prove "greekness" of something. don't you read any revisionist world historians like Clive Ponting, Jared Diamond, Martin Bernal over there?

  • @aporia82 So you saying that these temples in Asia Minor are not from greek Ionians 8thBC?so how build them then?

So you are saying that the Temples in Athens Parthenon , stadiums ect are not build by Greeks?

Why are the temples in Athens and in all the of the medeterainan sea all th same?no proof of Greekness?

So why modern Greeks can read Ancient Greek today, coinsidence? why they can read ancient plates and almost 80% translate them. Why can Greeks reed the Bible first writen in Greek?

  • Paradise on earth! These political comments are just so sad and ignorant!

Turkey is a fully democratic G20 state and has the 2nd strongest Military Force in NATO ...

Most Turks now believe they are better off not as a EU state! EU is a club for bankrupt states, Greeks, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, etc..

Over 90% are muslims but dont mistake them as Arabs or Iranians... People are most liberal, evenl more than UK, Ireland,Italy etc..

Armenians and Greeks who seem to have issues with the Turk

  • Without a doubt the most beautiful country Ive visited

  • Aki me vrikes ?

  • does anybody know which song this is?

  • I meant live in .. Oh well. as I've been told " if your scared of big guns , go to church, and Turkey seems to have plenty of magnificent churches, cathedrals, mosques (OMG!). Truly , I'd much rather be there than in this crazy place. The freaks / loosers do come out on facebook / other networking utilities... But in america were dealing with financial armagedon and became accustomed to privelage. We'll just have to see where the chips fall and enjoy your cultures, customs, and pics.cntaffrdtrp

  • I meant live in .. Oh well.

  • I don't go to the forest in Arizona because I like the one of the biggest cities in america, and this city I live in still contains elements of supremacy -- which is fine , people are entitled to their opinions etc. But who wants to travel to places in the stix Sticks anyway when your people are meerly hated for being of mixed ethnic origin and you are paranoid about being killed by some lunatic. The lunatics come out at night, in the forest, and on YouTube Comments. I'd much rather be inTURKEY!

  • If all of you stupid moronic little children don't stop your ridiculous arguing and bickering I'm taking this video off youtube for good. I've had it with all these brainless archaic ridiculous comments. Grow up.

  • Wow, ok, everybody just has to chill because all these losers making the irrational, curse-filled comments on this video do not represent Greeks or people from the Balkans,

they're 'keyboard warriors' who don't really have lives and spend their whole day in front of their pc making hateful comments.

The feelings of the real people here are as far away as reality is from their pc worlds.

  • @ThePortakalos

clearly you are the dumb one? read any biography on Sinan and it will say that he is Armenian/Greek you moron :)

  • Turkey is an amazing country with lots to offer! Many countries today are not what they were hundreds of years ago. Countries change...borders and rulership change. Other peoples conquer and settle leaving their own stamp on a country. It's called history!! You people need to accept that most countries (including your's) have a great deal of other countries' cultures blended in with their own. So stop critisizing. Turkey is not alone in this. Turkey's colourful history makes it unique!

  • @aaaabbxx History ? of What ? Genoside of 1.500.000 Armenians 1.000 000 Pondian Greeks? 100 000 greeks from the Burning of Smyrna?

Nice History you have down there ...Not letting Kurds to have their own Country??

  • @deezacharo I'm not actually Turkish. People need to forget the past. Peace is the only way forward. People like you prevent this from happening. Grow up!

  • @deezacharo hahaha u homo fuck you brainwashed parasite

  • @Timurchin1 you are talking to a historian ,,I think you have a very faul attitude mister

I just read the majority of turkish people have Greek DNA. acording to some notes here

Turkish military stole from Greek villages, underage children from familys to grow them and train them as

soldiers to kill greek civilians. I think you should Check you DNA ... before you start swearing mr Turk(Greek)

  • @deezacharo lmao i have a greece DNA? muhahahaha

now you have a ottoman dna you idiot

    check ottoman archives

janissarys comes from bosnia srbia albania romania and some turkish but never gayreeces

  • @Timurchin1 yes there were foreign woman. the reason for that was, if any war had been lost, turkish women wouldnt have to be slave for whatever country we had war with. pretty clever huh?

  • @deezacharo greeces are useless peasants with no brain you guys dont know how a healty economy works

you greeces sitting on european mainpower cocks

without EU your nothing just a bankrupt country

  • @deezacharo come on dude be a realistic

  • Long Live,Turkey!!! from brothers country Azerbaijan

  • @dranatomi111 thank's I do always consider Azerbaijan as a brother country!

  • Most of those things are greek no matter if they change hands so your tourism is based on Greek Architecture art and everything...but if you havent anything else to demonstrate except kappadocia its reasonable to show those things.no offence but the excuse that "sicily has these too" or "land changes hands" doesnt change that they are not greek.

  • FUCK barbarian muslim turkey, you will die like your ottoman ancestors

    erdogan killed ataturk!!!!

    long live israel

    god is with the jews

  • I can't believe all this hatred , you suckers need to give some credit to Turks for protecting all these great historical landmarks and monuments for centuries . Turkey is beautiful and it's okay to be envy about it but please keep your jealousy and hate comments to yourself, you are not getting anywhere with it,go away swallow a sword or something :)))

  • Amazing commercial! Turkey certainly has a lot to offer! A lot of countries' culture is made up of a tapestry of different cultures. These are brought by those who have conquered or settled and stayed over a period of many years. It is called history! I can't believe people are arguing over stolen culture. There is no such thing! You cannot steal a culture. The diverse culture and extraordinary history of Turkey is what makes it so colourful and unique! People need do be more educated!

  • 95% of ashkenazi Jews are from Khazarian Turkish roots. Turks and Jews of Israel have many things common. If you look in the history you will can see how Turks always have protected the Jews from others.

  • Its normal that the Christian World hates Turkey, they know Turks are the only Muslim People that can rule the World again! They are searching for lies to stop Turkeys growing power... its so easy to see what the turth is... you can check the news paper archives from 1915 before and after like New York Times, London Times! h**p://armenians-1915*blogspot*com/2007/09/1961-new-series-innocent-armenians*html You can ask a iranian, georgian, azerian..what they think about the armenians!

  • @irishseanieHQ

When the Turks took over Constantinople, the Christian civillians living in there were ecstatic.

If your own rulers cant look after you properly, we come into the picture.

  • why do armenians and greeks keep ruining turkish videos? get a life!

Hmmm, not problem! :D Greeting from Hungary dear turkish brothers!

  • TURKIYENI COX SEVIRIK, BU DA BIZIM VATANIMIZ!!!! AZERBAYCAN - TURKIYE CANIMIZ SIZE FEDA OLSUN!!!!

  • super,super

  • I acn't understand why someone postst a video to share a little bit of culture and everyone takes the opportunity to make hateful comments. Yes, there are a LOT of Greek and Roman monuments there... ANCIENT,greek and roman momunents, no longer a part of modern greek civilization. Geograpgy has changed, the past is the past! Personally, I LOVE turkey and turks. I have NOTHING against greeks at all. But I felt Turkish people were warmer to me than greeks when I visited the Aegean! Ya$asin Türkiye!

  • Turkey Tourism is of great prestige I hold the development of Turkey, the Turkish people and Turkish tourism in high regard. Romania can learn a LOT of Turkey and their long respected Turkish tourism industry. I have been to Turkey a number of times and I have just had among the greatest times with my friends. Turkey is a very beautiful country. I look forward to going to this diverse and wonderful country in the future. Regards from Romania

  • thank you turks for respecting jesus christ and all greek roman antiquity monuments by showing us!thank you i think you become more and more europised and love too these things by showing them.we love you turkey!(im greek)

  • İ don't know if most of the people here have ever visited Turkey and these places. Before you enter the gates of the places, there is always a sign which tells who or what nation built it in history and Turkey has always advertised those places or the country itself as "the combination of various civilizations--not Turkish". Moreover Turks came to Anatolia from Middle Asia in 1071 So they have been living on this land for nearly 1000 years. And yes, they have added their touch to the land.

  • 0:06 all armenian those christianity is ours from armenians bitch fuck all turks toerist do not let you be brainwahsed turks are killers big horribol killers those land of anatolia belongs to armenians

  • @AllochGs LOL. okay fag

  • Just stop getting jealous of Turkey's beauty, you are all only doing yourselves bad, not us Turks.

  • Turkey: a country for faggots

  • @1stcenturyproduction you: a retard that belongs in a trailer

  • Great clip..Turkey is full of history..Turkey has a lot of unique culture..Everything is real shown on the video..

  • @eroglusalih I'm sure turkey has a proud culture to showcase..besides a bridge on the Bosphorous and the salt mountains everything else in this clip is non-turkish..is this what you mean by real or are you delusional??

  • @TheKameleon80 Turkey is very proud of their culture, but seeing as Turkey hasn't officially had the land for too long, they don't have many historical icons to show.

In a way, they are doing the Greeks a favour by showing these things. Like I said, they don't rely on them, most tourists are interested in beaches and pubs not broken statues from centuries ago. If Turkey wanted, they could get rid of them, after all, they own them now.

  • Great clip on Turkey..Thanks for sharing..Turkey is full of culture, history, religion, tourism..They are all real..

  • @Armos4lifee13 I had nothing to do with the making of this video, so no reason to despise me personally.

  • @Armos4lifee13 Excuse me, but Turkey has more classical sites than Greece does and that is a fact. If your ancestors were so worried about it, they would have built it in your country. But it is in MINE. So please stop being racist. You have no just cause to hate an entire nation unless you are an asshole.

  • @classicalgirl01 HAHAHA More classical sites than Greece!?!?! HAHAHA FIRSTLY this is not true, anywhere you go in Greece you will find ancient or byzantine era sites whether it be in the middle of athens or thessalonike or on nearly every single tiny island SECONDLY these classical sites you speak of in turkey are Greek/Persian/Roman, not Turkish!! Turkey doesnt have a classical history!!! All of Turkey was either Greek or Persian before the Ottomans Turks ever existed!! Read a book twit!! lol

  • @TheKameleon80 You're the twit. I said more Classical Sites, I didn't say TURKISH CLASSICAL SITES. And that was read in a FACT BOOK!. And Turkey does have a classical history. What about the hitites?

  • Comment removed

  • @andonaki2 Can you please stop stalking me..Look, I respect GREEKS AND GREECE, but this is a tourism add for turkey, so shut the hell up and watch , and if you aren't going to , GET BLOODY LOST

  • @Armos4lifee13 I wish to ask you a question. Are you Armenian or Italian-Australian. You said in your first post "we" Armenians and then at the fourth comment you inputted you say that you are Italian-Australian. Im very confused?

  • @AncutaMerkel

I know this is a very late reply, but unfortunately I have a well balanced and successful life, therefore i cannot spend all my time on YouTube argueing with ignorant and bellignant Turks. I am Armenian/Greek Australian and I never recall saying I was Italian?

  • @Armos4lifee13 Your argument sounds very childish. Why shouldn't Turkey show all its monumental sites whether belonging to Christianity, Judaism or any other culture. It is part of the fabrication and multi-culturalism which Turkey can be proud of. The same may apply to any country in the world. All sites within each country's boundaries should not be ignored. On the contrary, they are part of the local history. Though I do not like Turkey's present political orientation, I hate childish remarks

  • Comment removed

  • @eliaviel1

they are a Muslim secular country, Christian icons are not theres so show. If anything they should be shipped to Greece and Armenia or even museums in Paris or London. WHat matters is that everyone knows Turkeys dirty history, yet the only people that deny the events of the Turkish past are the Turks.

  • Why does Turkish tourism continuously rely on showing ancient Greek relics, amphitheatres, Byzantine icons and churches to promote itself????

  • @TheKameleon80 Gety over it. These relics are in Turkey now. Italy has many ancient greek ruins as well. The island of Sicily has many Greek, Tunisian and Moroccan relics and ruins. Unfortunately for the people who built them, they are in Sicily now. Same goes for Turkey. I think people need to just get over it and face the fact that land has changed hands many times in the history of the world, not just Turkey.

  • @vissi87 You miss my point...as you state, many regions that once were occupied by other peoples & are now part of other cultures exist throughout the world HOWEVER using your example, does Italy showcasing Greek, Tunisian nor Moroccan treasures as part of their tourism campaigns? they show Roman relics, Catholic churches & art, images reflective of THEIR OWN culture NOT OTHERS Is Turkey so poor in culture they dont highlight anything unique to themselves or is this a case of identity theft?

  • @TheKameleon80 No you idiot. They show these because it is on Turkish land. The land that Turkey currently occupies has one of the richest histories ever, and people WANT TO SEE these iconic structures, so Turkey wants to show them - it's called demand and supply (logic). The Tourist guides explain everything, they don't "claim" that Turks built them, however they may explain the influence of the Turks on them, or the influence of them on Turks.

    Ignorance is bliss.

  • @mrdrivel2 Thanks for stating the obvious! You miss my point..besides these non-turkish aspects of their tourism campaign, that happen to be in present day turkey, what else have they to offer that they so heavily rely on other ppls culture to attract prospective tourists?? Dont get me wrong, I'd be proud that other ppl were showcasing my ppls history within their own borders and allowing everybody to discover them HOWEVER why does 90% of their ad contain "foreign matter"? Riddle me this clown!

  • @TheKameleon80 You say I state the obvious then go onto ask me to state it again? Why does their ad contain "foreign matter", because people want to see them. Demand and supply.

They don't rely heavily on them either. Turkey makes great uses of their seaside towns/villages/cities. But they don't want the ad to be all about the sea do they? No, so they show the historical areas in Turkish land. What don't you get about that? They have to build it to show it? No. It's common sense.

  • @vissi87 your comment is absolutely wrong , how can we forget our ancestors in some words ! they have died for these "ruins" and now nobody cares. How can we forgot these masterpieces that they have built with such love and loyalty .Your tourism depends on Greece Armenia and most of all BYZANTIUM !!! turkish people was barbarians from Asia who like millions other barbarians wanted to burn and destroy great civilizations and conquer the absolute city : Constantinople .This is the real Turkey !

  • @TheKameleon80 Because it puts on display a wide variety of differentiating cultures in one nation. I personally think it is very interesting and hope that you get over your jealousy

  • @TheKameleon80

Maybe because these tourist attractions are in TURKEY????

The point of making a tourism ad is SHOWING OFF YOUR TOURIST ATTRACTIONS!!!

  • @TheKameleon80 Oh, and I congratulate you on your discovery of 'LOL', it seems to be your favourite expression so keep it up it makes you sound so intelligent, and fyi uneducated and ignorant are the same thing

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL, hey!, now I'm smart and educated like kameleon80!!

  • Comment removed

  • @TheKameleon80 Hey you're the one with the 50 messages, not just on this vid but on a bunch of others I mean its ridiculous so I wouldn't talk if i were u. And fy fucking i uneducated and ignorant do come out to be the same thing, so keep up you're third grader english and continue to prove to everyone how much of a fudgetard and loser you really are ;D

  • @TheKameleon80 BTW, don't you have anything better to do than go around trolling on Turkish tourism vids on youtube, I mean you're like 30 years old get a fucking life

  • @TheKameleon80 its ours now get over it

  • thaaaaaank you vissi87 for accepting my video response :)

  • the most images and places you promoted at this video have greek origin...

  • @tedkioussis Yeah, a long time ago. Most things in Sicily had Greek origin too. No one complains about that.

  • @vissi87

Whoever you are, stop jumping down peoples throats as soon as they appoant the truth about all these popular destinations in Turkey being of Greek origin, just like Lake Van, Mount Ararat and all eastern Turkey is Armenian. You Turks just cannot face the fact that your country has been built by Christian Armenian and Greeks. Even your great mosques are built by Mimar Sinan an Armenian in the 1500's. Everybody knows that when they visit Ephesus, Istanbul, Izmir etc, its Greek soil.

  • @Armos4lifee13 I took this video from a website years ago. I'm not even remotely Turkish. I'm Italian-Australian. I just find it ridiculous how people like you can't let go of the past. I know very well that much of the ancient wonders of the country were built by Greek and Armenian Christians. I'm not trying to say otherwise. I'm just saying that all of these wonders unfortunately are in Turkey now, and nothing you say is going to change that.

  • @vissi87

You are Italian and debating on behalf of the Turks? strange :S I am Australian Armenian/Greek and here we havn't let go of the past until it is properly addressed and our Genocides are recognized not only by Australia, but by Turkey as well.

  • @Armos4lifee13 If you are soo sure that we carried out a planned genocide on the armenians, why don't you open your archives. WHY DOESNT ARMENIA SHOW THE WORLD PROOF? Oh yeh, they can't. Because it never happened. Irkci

  • @classicalgirl01

Why is is that 20+ nations some being a few of the most powerful on Earth have accepted the Genocide? Why is that are 2 sorts of people that deny there was a genocide: Either you are a brainwashed Turk, or a Turk who knows the truth but is payed to deny it and lie.

  • @Armos4lifee13 umm who cares?

  • @Armos4lifee13 you just can't face the fact that us Turks have PWNED you. DEAL WITH IT SUCKA!!!! :D

  • @perfectcatastrophe

and now you have the repuation of being a bloodthirsty-guilty-of-genocide against the Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians and other minorities, also a reputation of being dirty Muslim Mongols who try so hard to behave 'European.' IF you ahd pwned us, no Armenian would be alive today, so I'm sorry to say but, you didn't pwn us you little illiterate fuck. Do you know about Mousa Ler? When the Armenians fought of the Turks, and killed and burnt their nasty bodies,n saved Armenian land

  • @Armos4lifee13 Mimar Sinan and Armenia? Its like when you say the orginal McDonalds is from Afghanistan! Your full of lies and blind hate against Turkey... as vissi said, you can not change the facts!

Check out every profile that talks against Turkey, they are greek, armenian or kurds! Dont be jealous guys, your not strong&good enough to keep it up with Turkey, and we are getting stronger, but we stay fair to every one and every culture dont afraid!

  • Comment removed

  • @Armos4lifee13 well if its greek soil tell me one thing why isnt there a greek flag flying over it now its urs because its part of turkey no matter who built it we own it

  • @XbobmarleyX420

lol you stole it mate, the only people that believe that is is rightfully Turkish are the turks and azerbaijani's, what a surprise there!

  • Want to visit Turkey?

    Think again!

Turkey is going through a revolution - a radical Islamic revolution.

This is a dangerous country for tourists - be careful.

Turkey, Iran and North Korea are exactly the same.

  • @aweinsto Stop being an imbecile. We are not experiencing any sort of Islamic revolution. If it is such a dangerous country for tourists then why is it in the top ten tourism-based countries. I know that no matter what I say, you will still think in the same ignorant manner, as I am experienced with people like you, I am not going to waste my time. But I would like you to know, that when Turkey was the Ottoman Empire,an empire based on Islam, they were the most powerful & tolerant in the world.

  • @classicalgirl01 chopping subjects heads off and hanging ppl from trees to strike fear in the occupied populous is definately an example of tolerance ;)

  • @TheKameleon80 I think you are mixing up my country with Afghanistan
