  • The original trilogy is the best trilogy.

  • Okay. The wampa hand, cgi Yoda, better looking lightsabers. I'm all for those changes. They're are great but the NooooOOoO!! is going too far

  • T don't care what changes he made, nobody should care, just love the movies and the universe and quit WHINING AND COMPLAINING. it's not like george lucas goes onto youtube to fucking watch videos of his movies and read the comments people fucking say. And all the shit about how the prequels suck, thats for jaded fucking old people. They're ALL good. Sure I was born in 92 and didn't get to see the first ones in theaters, but i grew up watching the originals, and then the prequels, love them equal

  • @CliffTheAlpha i agree man, but the originals are better. I was born in '93. When I was a little kid I only watched prequals and didn't even know that there were already 3 other films out there. When I finally watched the originals, they just blew my mind. They were just so pure. They had so much more color, and life. They define the idea of star wars.

  • @Rajonty Idk, I love the prequels because there's so much more emotion, more action, and the music to the fights amplifies the fights. You notice, how the fight scenes in the originals didnt have any music, and weren't AS epic, but in ROTJ whenever Luke Charges vader and the music starts, it's fuckin powerful as hell, but Revenge of the Sith always hits me hard in the end, because I can relate to anakin and his inner turmoil, i mean, he did ALL that shit for padme, just to kill her

  • @CliffTheAlpha Amen to that!

  • @CliffTheAlpha Stop whining about the whiners and complaining about the complainers and let us WHINE AND FUCKIN COMPLAIN.

We paid a theater ticket for our right to whine, for fuck's sake. Who are you, Lucas' maid?

  • @NicotinMan No, just someone who's tired of people who are so biased about it all the time

  • Here's some changes for you, George:

    -Make Han shoot first.

-Change Boba Fett's voice back to Jeremy Bulloch.

-Change Anakin back to Sebastian Shaw.

  • how come i don't remember the yoda from the right side, was it in the original episode 1 or what?

  • @TheJuddly yeah

  • @Rajonty thanks man

  • i new they changed yoda when i saw the 3d film

  • yoda is ok again but I still only like 4. 5. 6. :)

  • blu-ray doesnt have the original unedited version. I'd love to see, Han Solo shoot Greedo first in 1080p! o:

  • does the blu-ray also have the unedited version?

  • @Rajonty Are you kidding me? Lucas is waaaay to lame to let us have that.

  • @NDguy191 I don't know why he was so bent on trying to make Star Wars mainstream. Well actually I do...Money.

That's what really messed up the franchise, coz now they have to appeal to all these new fans who don't even know anything.

  • @Rajonty Since when hasn't Star Wars been mainstream?

  • @KeiraKoresh well mainstream is probably the wrong world. But you know how it was...Star Wars was a cult classic.

It's similar to what Nintendo did this generation. They left their core fanbase, and tried to appeal to a larger audience.

You get what I'm tryin to say?

  • @Rajonty Wait, what? Star Wars was a gigantic box office hit from the day it was released and broke numerous records at the time of its opening right? I don't know a single person who hasn't seen the movie and not because it has been tweaked and rereleased, but because it's a fuckin' classic that very few people don't love.

  • @sasuke1788 i agree with that. but its this new generation of fans. it seems that that's lucas wants to please

  • For every good change there has to be 5 horrible ones

  • They left out Darth Vader's NOOOOOOOOOO, and the Ewok's CGI eyelids.

  • @ilovekh2100 yeah. i wasn't sure if those were legit changes at the time I put the video up.

  • Thses were just subtle changes. the one that pissed me off was the NOOOOO when vader turned against the emperor.

  • @moiriv415 Some changes are good, some are bad. That change was the single worst of the lot.

That change ruined the entire scene. The power in that scene was putting emotion on Vader's expressionless face, and when he turned against the emperor, it was made even more powerful.

Thank fuck I have the DVD version without that change on it!!!

  • The sad thing is that they think they "fixed" the lightsaber cross, but I realized that the colors are swapped because the green one is blocking the red one, which would be wrong. Second Vader would have to hold his lightsaber with his kneecaps. The red lightsaber should have been green and the green should have been red, but they missed the chance to fix it because they didn't realize it was wrong...

  • George Lucas: Once a young film maker who attempted to defy the Hollywood system, but ultimately became the system.

  • The changes shown in this video are for the best, methinks, however, certain other changes (like Vader yelling "NOOOOO" in episode 6) simply are not.

  • Lucas has taken away our right to watch the original films we enjoyed so much as children! Furthermore, not all of his changes are improvements.

For REAL Star Wars fans, the elimination of the original Yoda is SO sad. We can probably live with cleaned up lightsabres. We could even endure remakes of the original films, if he didn't like some modern-day Stalin remove all traces of the historical Star Wars.

  • did you guys know that in epire strikes back the scene in the cave with the beast and luke ...the original is so much longer and more dramatic...the thx and the special edition shortened luke trying to get out of the ice and showed a cheezy monster getting its arm cut off.

  • lol new yoda didnt look like yoda. they might as well re -do all the old movies and make them cartooney and reshoot scenes to replace...I mean of course I don;t mean that but common....If you guys really want to see some shit. get the old cbs fox video release and compare all 3 to the following thx, then compare the special edition vhs to the dvd release. then compare the thx vhs to the dvd thx...have not tried that last one yet. but I saw changes so noticable. like cgi and removing clips

  • Muppet Yoda looks like Yoda. CG Yoda looks like Oscar the grouch.

  • For all you haters out there is HIS MOVIE NOT YOUR MOVIE He can do whatever the F@#$ he wants. No wonder he is quitting!! But you have to admit that light saber scene the Ewok and Yoda scene are SOOOO much better.

  • @JorgechorcxPappy he did what he wanted with the originals. that was where he let his creativity flow. releasing the films on blu-ray is a fan service, and a way to keep the franchise alive.

  • @JorgechorcxPappy in my opinion once you release it to the world it belongs to everyone

  • @JorgechorcxPappy He made it. But did he make it for himself? Is the audience just lucky or something? We have the power to make it famous, to popular. If we hated this movie it might have been forgotten. But the movie it originally was gained millions of fans.

You mustn't forget why a movie is made: To be watched. Who does the watching? We do. Who decides Lucas gets any money from this to fund his next (terrible thing)? We do.

Lucas forgot why he's making movies.

  • @JorgechorcxPappy I have to disagree there. He could have made a movie with luke as a puppet but since no one would watch the movie that was not an option. The movie is the fans movie, the ones that made its success possible.

  • Yoda looks retarded....

  • It's good that he refined the lightsaber color in ROTJ. That was a good change.

  • If..he just didn't have darth vader say noooooo.....

  • I'm glad that they are improving on the lightsaber fights.

  • This changes are good... at least they really improved something.

  • I have to admit the yoda in episode 1 was simply terrible. When I seen it for the first time, I was confused, thinking, "why did Empire have a more realistic looking Yoda than this?"

  • @imreadydoctor i always said lucas should have stuck to a puppet for yoda and ignore the cgi, it worked for empire and worked well... i think a puppet gives it more a human feel than cgi

  • @slapmyfunkybass im fine with the cgi yoda in revenge of the sith coz he was moving with the times, but he shouldnt have gone back and replaced the puppet yoda with the cgi one

  • @imreadydoctor he can fuck with the prequels all he wants, just stop changing the originals

  • @imreadydoctor yeah I mean, they put CGi on EVERYTHING else, why not on him xD

  • yeah but the point i am trying to reach is : George can do what he wants he can even put mickey mouse bugs bunny and jar jar in all the movies for all I care . In parallel just release the originals intact with the highest HD quality . Die hard fans like me want the originals before they got raped

  • @DBNIGHT the ( originals intact ) as you call them are avail on DVD... go on EBAY and buy them....

  • de didn´t change his mind he lost his mind and lost the original reels . or he would have released the original theatrical release blue ray edition

  • @DBNIGHT Rubbish!

The theatrical versions where on sale a couple of years ago, they were DVD, but he clearly didn't lose the reels.

  • @Rajonty Haha yeah, that probably would have been better.

  • @Rajonty I think one reason of the new releases of the video is because he needs money for the new Live Action Star Wars TV show he wants to make. It's costing him $55 million an episode, and money has to come from somewhere. Why not try reselling a movie series that made billions, but this time in higher quality? That's got to make a nice chunk of change. But I do agree with what you said haha.

  • Well Christmas is near. Let's have this

blu-ray for our list. Again My your force be with you

  • @Rajonty Wow. That's punctual.

  • Yeah that's right. If you are a big Starwars fan

just like me. We never forget the classic Starwars saga.

My your force be with you

  • @hilarioph Nobody has forgotten the classic saga... I think. But the prequels have good qualities too.

  • If Lucas add so many scenes for Starwars. It could be the history of

cinema. But he needs to add more scene since the special edition back in

1997 until the new Starwars movie of Episode 1 back in 1999.

The bad news is he suppose to put it on the big screen but on 3D

  • @Rajonty

Huh. And here I thought you were here, siding for the exact opposite. Yeah, I very much dislike the constant changes and new labels, so Lucas can milk some extra green off of movies he made over 30 years ago.

  • im sure there is but u know they already had some cgi yodas in the fight scene towards the end when he is flipping around so why didnt they just use cgi from the start??

  • Are there more changes?
