On that NWA flight, our stopovers from New York City to Manila were Chicago O'hare, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Tokyo Narita.

thanks! wala pa kasi ako na-try na airline other than PAL kasi when i travel' may kasama akong senior citizen and 2 kids... para no hassle and stop-overs always PAL airline namin especially mnl to lax...

Para sakin, Singapore Airlines so far the best.

Actually ganon din ang Emirates, same with Cathay Pacific, JAL, tsaka Korean Air.

Ayoko ng mga US carriers. Wala silang pakialam sa pasahero. Di mo feel ang hospitality, parang utang na loob mo pa na sumakay ka sa airline nila, hahaha!

pag may stopover ba sa ibang country, example from philippines to US stopover sa japan, kailangan din bang kumuha ng japanese visa?

Nope, di na kelangan. Kasi transient ka lang naman sa airport, di ka naman lalabas, and in an hour or two after you arrive in your stopover, aalis narin kayo to continue to the US.

Only if you intend to go out of the airport, dadaan ka sa immigration and you will be asked of a visa.
