I think grand theft auto is a huge step from san Andreas. The graphics are outstanding, and controls are great. The only thing i wish they had were all the same cheats from San Andreas, and multilayer cheats! It would make it SO much better Online! THEY RELY ON THEIR GLITCHES FOR ENTERTAINMENT

The more realistic a game gets, the more boring and obnoxious it is to play. I play games to have "FUN" and get away from reality. GTA4 threw everything that was "FUN" from San Andreas out the window and turned it to SnoozevilleDrama4.

I couldn't stand it, most 12 year old's or first timers in the GTA series will disagree with me. Ask for the old school gamers who were there since GTA3 you most likely understand my gripe.

It took me well over 8 months to beat this game. Yes, 8 months!

The story obviously didn't interest me at all. No awesome characters (Brucie was decent). I mostly hated them all because either they were too serious or hard as shit to understand like Little Jacob.

This game seemed to of downgraded since San Andreas. Where was the experience gained from using a single gun? Riding bikes, customize cars, or even getting an awesome tattoo.

Well, all in all I beat the game and never looked back.

Okay First and foremost this game is graphically amazing..the graphics werent the problem, even the gameplay wasn't a problem. What the problem was in my opinion is the fact that the map wasn't as diverse as expected. There was no place like San Andreas were a person can just drive out of the city into a desert area or country area. What the Dlc's lacked was a new section on the map. To get out of the everyday liberty city repition would have made the game completely much more

fun. Us Humans get bored very quickly if we have to deal with repition too often. So one thing I belive that would've made GTA 4 much better was that if they added different locations..Say an upstate location where a person can go hunting or fishing and get away from the crazy city. A safe house in the woods where you can just look outside and watch it snow, watch the birds, or frozen lake.

A person should've been able to have a fully functioning camera where you can take pictures of the beautiful city or country side and an actual photo book were they can store pictures( and this does not have to be included in the online version) This game has potential to really be the greatest game of all time.
