I met this wonderful woman when I was a teenager in her home church during a very troubled time in my life. Her music had been a source of strength, peace, and inspiration when I needed it most.

I just google her name to find out what she was doing currently only to find out that sadly she just passed away on August 4, 2011. RIP Janny Grein. You will be missed.

Great song! My son was 9 years old, and going through open heart surgery, and I was going through a divorce at the same time, when I heard this song for the first time. I used to drive from Childrens Hospital in Seattle, with tears running down my face, every time it would come on the radio. It still has an amazing impact, and I'm so grateful that I found it again!

Janny came to my church..Bread of Life houston..in 1986 shortly after my divorce...I can not describe what this song did for me... I first discovered her music back in the 70's with Covenant Woman. Rediscovered her in the 90's while at a revival meeting in Florida. The music is still relevant and still ministers. God bless Janny.

I met Janny and Bill back in, oh... 1974?
She was singing at an open-air picnic in Denver
and I had travelled far to hear her.
Afterwards we met and ended up sitting in the grass
talking (while her dog explored the park)
until the sprinklers came on and drenched us!
