It's the German GS Motorsport BMW M3 GTR which has nothing to do with the Schnitzer works GTR - the GS Motorsport runs a 5 litre V8 instead of the works cars 4 litre and has a Hollinger sequential 6 speed gearbox. GS stated the car had 610bhp

Car was sold to England after Belcar rule changes, reappeared in Belgian GT, but crashed heavily at Eau Rouge - don't know if it's still racing as the Motec stopped working at 206kph

look it's a V8 that's for sure but it's not the same gear pf the real gtr this is an TripTronic system and not an SMG when you have an SMG you hear almost nothing else as racket it makes al lot of noise. and BTW i didn't say it was not a lemans race

this is not an original from schnitzer. the originals did have plans, than scrapped, for the dtm. which was woken up from the dead in the month of may 2002. and, who ever is saying that there are only 2 in existence is an idiot. there are more than 2 copies of this car around. this ain't one of them either.

This is one of two cars originally intended for DTM, with aero package and chassis developed by Schnitzer. Quietly commissioned by BMW, and not intended to be anything other than a test package, with only two cars in existence they both went to the Belcar series with GS Motorsport and G&A racing respectively after not being used (or further developed) for the DTM series.

It's not the works M3 GTR you know from ALMS

GS Motorsport build this car with a 5 litre V8 producing 590bhp at 7.900rpm. The car is capable of 310kph.

Due to Belcar regulation changes it was sold to England after the 2006 season
