JP instacure is similar to the mortons TQ...The TQ contains instacure salt and sugar and some flavoring...Recipes need to be adjusted if using TQ or just the Cure..Mainly Salt Content.

You may want to try a stainless steal horn. The casing slides of it easier and it it easier to sanitize after.
