Yeah Linkin Park's old style is what made them big. Their old style is what introduced me to the band. That heavy Hip-Hop rock is their strongside in music. MTM went for a softer style of rock. I think they should mix it up if you ask me. Because if people like the soft and heavy, more people would buy the new album in all.

I just hope they go back to their old style, I mean looking back on it, Minutes To Midnight was a good album, I had to listen to it a couple times to actually like it, but they need to go back to their original style cause their songs are sounding identical more & more cause if you listen to What I've Done & New Divide the guitar parts sound kind of similar, I hope they make a better album.

I love Linkin Park, pre- Minutes to Midnight. I thought that album was a waste of time compared to Hybrid Theory and Meteora. It took them so long to make that album that I thought it would be better than their previous work. I was wrong. I am a die-hard Linkin Park fan but frankly, Minutes to Midnight sucked. I hope their new album is going to be like Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Both were masterpieces and I hope they try to stay away from going soft like they did on Minutes to Midnight.

well... if you don't like all of their music, then you're not a "die hard" LP fan. hybrid theory was too much like most of today's young starters: screams, metal etc. meteora is my personal favorite but m2m is good, can't say it sucked - it would be blasphemy to LP!
