actually shes really REALLY good! but not quite true opera .just because someone sings an aria,it doesnt make them an opera singer. she's probably more a classical musical theatre voice than actual opera,in much the same way as aimee elizabeth.as good as she is,she wouldnt be heard in opera.but then,hey,you gotta start somewhere,and i dont agree with one or two of the comments that she was 'awful' with an 'awful voice'.thats just crap.not many people could sing better.i certainly couldnt.

ChaudeB- part of me agress with you BUT there are people out there that have talent and no money to refine the talent. that is why these shows exist. i think if anything, these shows are going to help promote opera and keep the art from dying altogether bc unfortunately people follow these silly shows bc they dont have the time or money to go and watch a 4 hour opera at the met. if you dont like the talent show then dont waste your time with it. she has a beautiful voice and needs direction.

sorry, but this is horrible. italian bad, voice bad. paul potts should never have won b. got talent, because now every wannabe opera singer comes to these stupid shows where nobody knows about the technique you need to sing opera. and they get celebrated like the new opera stars!!!! this is destroying art
