I wish they would have done more H/G foreshadowing in the OotP movie. I mean we see Ginny looking sad over Harry and Cho but we don't see Harry getting to knw Ginny as a person, like the scen where Ginny reminds Harry about the riddle posession when he is afraid voldemort is posessing him or the chocolate scene the library. I felt those scenes in the book really showed Harry and Ginny's deepening relationship.

I actually adored the kiss between Harry and Cho; it really fitted the way it was described in the book. They never were good; wasn't comfortable and everything was quite overdone. They faaaiiileddd xD

This one however completly pissed me off in the movie. The way they got together was one of my favorite parts of the book. It was unique and totally a situation Harry & Ginny could be with. The movie one is just no. It would've been a good scene if it'd fitted with Ginny's behavior.

The kiss ginny gives harry for his birthday in the seventh better be a good as it is in the book where "she was kissing like she had never kissed him before and he kissed her back, and it was blissful oblivion."

I know! They had to make the kiss longer! And I hated how right after the kiss Harry has to leave. They didn't really show that much of their relationship after the kiss. I mean all they had was the hug after Dumbledore died, but I thought that they would be kissing more. And I didn't really like how we didn't get to see how Ron reacted when he found out about Harry and Ginny.

The things that I did like though was when Harry arrives at the Burrow (hugging scene.)

I love the HBP kissing scene as much as the next HP fan, but I actually think this scene in the movie is better. In the book, the kiss happened out of the blue with absolutely no in sight into Ginny's feelings beforehand and their whole relationship was barely explored... this private moment between them sort of makes it more...believable? ...and not so rushed. It's a better foundation for their epic love story. lol

Yeah! The kiss was after Gryfindor won the Quidditch game without Harry. Harry had detention with Snape. When they kissed it was in the Gryfindor Common Room at the winning party. The kiss was in front of every one, not in the Room Of Requirements...I hate movies that do that.

Idk, it doesn't have to be Ginny/Neville per se. I thought it might have been cute to have them form some kind of close friendship in the last few books, but Ginny's crush on Harry prevented her from seeing what a cool person Neville is(and of course, Neville likes her and gets jealous when she starts dating Harry).
