@RTLippy true, but thats what a spinner aims to do, their rotation is solely on one spot allowing the ball to remain in a straight path. With such a rotation, they aim to go right through the head pin (which would leave the big four for a usual bowler), the pins will fly around for a strike. Crankers and strokers are different to the spinners approach
