In the movie I was sooo disappointed with the meadow scene.... :( It was explained and described so beautifully in the book, and in the movie, it looked ordinary. Like, for example, what happened to the stream and overgrowth of wild flowers?!??! Prefer the book version.

I could have sworn in the book, when the van's about to hit Bella, it's a lot more intense than the trailer (And maybe movie, idk) protrays the scene. I'm pretty sure (and it's been a while, cut me some slack), that he pushed her, and messed the van up a BIT more, and then (and i cant remember if this happened or if edward jsut said it happened, the whole scene was confusing) Bella hit her head. Is it just me, or is this scene too... Wimpy?

If you look closely there isn't any sun shining on him in the section where he should be sparkling. But I agree with you that they simply MUST make him sparkle in the movie.

If they stick to the Feb script draft he does sparkle as it says...
