@tbmotocross nah actually my fave riders are canard villopoto and durham. the fact he was back on his bike after 30 seconds proves how soft his landing was. sure it was hell scary but common his crash in 09 mx was far worse. he didnt even get back on the bike. im aussie btw. i just dont think hes the best rider out there.
@09crf250dreamz Not as hard as you would think. His legs hit first, they absorbed most of the impact, then his body hit. He slid, then fell to the ground. It really isn't as hard a landing as you would think. My buddy rides FMX and he bailed off his bike and slid down the landing. He was able to get right back up. The difference is my buddy got roadrash and chad probably didn't because of the wet grass.
@jwctex14 yea he lands with his legs sligtly first but then that catapults his head and shoulder straight to the ground, that's a hell of a shot to the head even if it is the downslope and soft grass/dirt
@09crf250dreamz Hmm, again take a little bit closer look. The order things hit are legs, butt, back, elbow, shoulder, head. The force was no where near as bad by the time his head hit. The helmet probably absorbed most of that anyway.

@TeChXKiNG - Was he knocked out unconscious after hitting th e dirt? The camera veers away from his body fast, but it looked like he kind of rag dolled and didn't move. I wondered if he smacked his head hard on landing.
@shimokita2 no he wasnt. i watched an interview when i got home and he said that he hit his head pretty hard and felt like puking the whole race. when he got up he was going just as fast as he was before he fell, but after about 15 minutes he slowed down to like a jog, i'm thinking he was in shock so it didnt hurt as much at first.
You should have been standing across the track from it like I was, it was off the hook! I'm not a big 22 fan but you gotta give it up for Reed for getting back on and picking up 15 spots
