How do you get HD in screenflow, I can't figure out how to do it.

From what I've heard people say is that as long as you computer has an HD screen than it should record HD but it doesn't play HD because people without HD screens that watch youtube, well none of the videos would work because the youtube flash video player it's self would be HD.
