  • Where can I get one of these?

  • Hi, I'm here only to ask when the avent steamer blender will be available in USA. Please, bring it to US. Thanks.

  • I use the old traditional way. Boiling water for 15 minutes.

  • @pnoyguitar ...That's how my mom did it...

  • for the iq 24, how come we keep the bottles on the sterilising or refrigerator while it's still wet, dont we need to leave it in the air to dry? and that will take almost 2 hours?

also regarding cleaning, I got a packet of powder to use it to clean not liquid bottle like what you are using, how can I use it? mix it up with water? and what is the amount of water?

  • @al7gega The residual water in your bottles is sterile after you sterilise so simply shake out excess water and seal the bottles to prevent air borne bacteria contaminating them.Your citric acid cleaning sachet has instructions on the pack and in the steriliser instruction book. Mix one sachet with 200ml water, switch on for 1-2 mins, switch off at mains power, stand for 30min, drain & rinse. Then run empty unit through a normal cycle. Hope this answers your questions.

  • Hi. I've been trying to use the Avent Express Steriliser. after 8 mins of processing, there's still water inside the machine & bottles & nipples. I did actually put only 90mil of water into the machine as guided. Please advise what should i do, did i do anything wrong?

  • for the iq 24 ..in mode 1.......remains sterile for 6 hours if unopened....definitely you have to open it to get the first bottle that you will be needing....so the rest of the bottles left in there will no longer be sterile?

  • @EvendimataE Ideally you can assemble the bottles you have sterilised and put them in the refrigerator until you need to use them. Then they remain sterile until you fill them. Hope this helps.

  • love dis, really handly

  • Don't buy it you don't need it at all. Just wash out your babies bottles yourself. Just a waste of money.

  • @annkus3 The most effective way to kill bacteria that can

cause infections in babies is the use of steam under

controlled conditions. Phillips AVENT sterilisers operate at 80°C. This

is well above the temperature at which harmful microorganisms such as HIV, Candida albicans (thrush), hepatitis A and C, the Salmonella species and

Staphylococcus aureus are killed (60°C). It is recommended that you sterilise for the first 12 months of baby's life as a baby's immune system is still developing.

  • @PhilipsAVENT hmm, funny you should mention this , where the tattoo industry is concerened we are led to believe hiv amongst he other syou mentioned need about 240 degrees for 15 minutes under pressure for sterilization . how can yours be different ,,,,, very very curious,,is it due to ours being blood born and yours being saliva ? look forward to yoru response because we are all buying thousand dollar to two thousnad dollar autoclave sterilizers to kill our bacteria ..babies r different ?
