Just for the fun of it, we might let our English speaking friends know that there exist five completely different songs in Czech that utilize this melody. Only one of them follows the content of the original English version (performed by a group who call themselves Taxmeni). "Náklaďák" is definitely the most famous of the five songs, however, it is also the only one which is in no way related to the Ohio river.
I LOVE her voice so much - I went to the trouble of signing up to you tube just to post this comment . This is the best version of this song - bar-none :-)
Its a very cool interpretation of this song.As good as Olivia Newton-John.You are a very very beutiful girl.If i were younger i would find you and i would marie you.
Wow, you did a great job on this old song. I have loved it since I first heard it in 1973. Where did you get the background music (if you dont mind me asking) I would love to record this song and unfortunatly I do not play any instruments.
are you doing a karaoke version here cause the guitar music starts before you begin to strum at the very start like you are waiting to cue for the music to begin singing? its was your eyes glancing to your right for the music to play
oh well not to worry your singing was good
from a guy in possilpark glasgow say if ya good then ya good ok
Caterina, I really like your version. You have a beautiful voice. Keep singing and thanks for keeping these old songs alive. Somewhere Mother Maybelle is smiling.
Very nice job! But this song was not written by Ms. Newton-John -- rather it is a traditional American song that has been sung for over 100 years --- long before Oliva Newton John was born! (<:
Still nice job - -the Ohio flows by my home on the way to meet the Mississippi!
Very good ! :) Beautiful cover

Excellent. You've got a great voice. I'd love to hear you do it with some live instrumentation in place of the karaoke stuff.

well, that's Olivia's version IIRC, there's another by Johnny Cash I think and the traditional version, which is a bit different.
but here you did a nice job, I did really enjoy watching, it wasn't boring at all :)
