This was clearly a great hit, but not uncommon. You see jackpots like this all the time - I've hit quite a few myself. The amazing part is to catch it on tape. Most of the time when people hit these jackpots, it's after hours and hours of hitting the button - eventually you will win one or two.

The amount won is $1,120. Here is how; he was betting on a one penny ($0.01) machine. It appears he was playing 5 cards (a, b, c, d, e). The first 4 cards (a,b,c,d) are all identical numbers. Each of those cards he marked 7 numbers, and he hit all 7 (7 out of 7). The payoff for 7 out of 7 is 7,000 to 1 (pretty good!!). He had a total of 4 cents bet on each card, so each card paid off 28,000 cents, for a total of 112,000 cents. (7,000*4*4=112,000 cents = $1,120.00).
