  • A great performance!

  • Does anybody know how to do that drumroll when the song starts? I can never do it right... Is there a trick to holding the sticks?

  • How the hell is that 'standard drumming?'.

Put yourself in Ringo's shoes. You have nothing to copy as Lennon/McCartney present you with a new song, and you have to come up with something original and Ringo comes up with this. Wow-Just WOW.

  • Amazing!

  • who shall dislike this has no soul.

  • yup

  • your R awesome dude !

  • Not a drummer myself (guitar) but really like your vids.

  • damn Nice

  • Where were you 44 years ago...you could have been a Beatle.

  • AWESOME!!....Fuckin AWESOME :)

  • my fav beatles song is the first 3 seconds of ticket to ride

  • Great Cover my friend...Love your channel...Next do A Hard Days Night !

  • Hey Batman. What is the sticking pattern on the roll in the intro? I can never figure it out!

  • always put a smile on my face to watch this guy play along with Beatles. just impeccable feel and perception of what Ringo played.

  • Excellent! :-)

  • I can't believe that tambourine thing actually plays double time during the bridge.

Unbelievable job! Of course, The Beatles recorded the tambourine on a separate track. You have found a way to do both. Great stuff.

  • @dunskie Ringo usually played (and still does on his solo records) the whole drums in only one track. So in the record he did not played separate.

  • @garotadagavea The tambourine is not part of the drums. It is auxiliary percussion. It was a separate track.

  • Good drumming is not only for listening to it but for watching it!

  • @MNEMOJPN You are so right this guy is something .

  • @MNEMOJPN yes very sharp!

  • very very very nice !!

  • Great drummers know how good Ringo was and you're one of them, great job.

  • Interviewer to John Lennon:

Interviewer - "So John is Ringo the best drummer in the world?"

John - "No way, Ringo isnt even the best drummer in The Beatles"

  • @745alex From sir George Martin:"“One of the best things about Ringo was how he flowed, he listened to his pals and picked up the tempo. His playing, when you hear him working with Paul on bass and the other guys on guitars, has soul. It was just remarkable.” and "Ringo has established himself with a sound that was quite unique and is the best rock drummer in the world." By John Katsilometes, The Love Theater at the Mirage on Tuesday, June 7, 2011.

  • @garotadagavea love Ringo

  • @garotadagavea ringo was a great drummer and definitely a singers drummer and I love the Beatles right to death but I def wouldnt call him the greatest drummer ever

  • 10/10! definitly a subscribe :D

  • 10/10!

  • That's how it's done. Good job. And this song is actually not 2 hard. I think i'm going to cover this myself :)

    Rock on!

  • Fantastic! If you lived in the states, I'd ask you to play for my band The Buddha Rats in a heartbeat.

  • awesome

  • the style is kinda like 'I don't care anymore' from Phil Collins, you know, that's the way, this boy fault the rolling snare beating

  • he actually played it wrong. every beat on this song has a little rolling, just like a scale of 3 drums on every note. bad you ruined the drum composition. bad.

  • @pabloorpaul Can't wait to see your version on youtube. We're all waiting.

  • @hoku51 if you listened the original that's enough you dumb youtuber, donn't waste your time.

  • Comment removed

  • @pabloorpaul That's quite a comment from a youtube "expert". Learn how to spell when commenting in public. Just brilliant.

  • @pabloorpaul Not sure about that, but okay.

  • kick butt job on the cover!!!

  • good!

  • Spot-on, faithful replication of the actual studio drum part -- makes me appreciate Ringo's drumming more. You should turn down the soundtrack a little more so we can hear your drumming more. Nice!

  • You're great!

  • Great cover. Its my favourite song too! what kind of cymbals do you have?

  • As a Beatles fan and musician I applaud your efforts here. Your videos and playing remind us why Ringo is one of the greats.

  • 以前からこの曲のドラムは好きだったですけど、バットマンさんの演奏を見てますます好きになりました。

    改めてビートルズもリンゴーも再評価しましたけど、そのエッセンスを現代へと抽出してるバットマンさんも凄い!

  • That fill at 1:51 is hard as a bastard! Ringo was really good at those fast double-handed fills. I think its because he's naturally left-handed but played a right-handed kit. I think both his hands were equally strong.

  • Man the rolls are excellent just the way RIng` did play them!

  • great job man wish i was this good :)

  • great job. Really fun to watch please post a cover of Rain

  • dude....u awesome

  • 99.0000000000000000000000000000000999999999999999999999999% perfect

  • Great drumming. John Lennon could write rock songs like no other. Sad he left us like he did.

  • How much was the tamborine?

  • Nice..................Very Nice!!

  • You inspire me to learn drumming! :-)

  • pretty good!!! bravo!!!

  • 10/10!!!!

  • @HERO873 - Yeah I Know =P

  • very very good man, cheers!

  • Damn, those drum rolls look hard! Nice video! As always, 5/5*

  • Amazing cover 5* totally.

  • did ringo actually comment, or is someone just imitate him? But really good job bro!!! ! ! ! !!!! ! ! !

  • Very good ! I like the tamborine beat you get but I wonder if thats how the Beatles did it ? Or did someone just play the tamborine directly ?

  • first song i learned on the drums ill put up a video someday

  • I really like the way you imitate Ringo's stick motion when playing the hi hat. Very cool.

  • Outstanding - really well done. You nailed it.

  • way to go bro! thats how i do it! good ear!

    cheers, Ringo

  • Dude if you did the drums to Rain please re-post that video, I would love to watch it.

  • what kind of hat tamborine is that

  • u rock man lml

  • Man you should do Help! Drum cover.

    -ctanner960

  • Simply Good!

  • wow you ahmazing..!!! a lot of people screw up this song but man your like great!

  • excellent!!

  • love the drumming on this song i myself am learning this song on the songs

  • Fab vids! How come you took Rain off your channel? I thought it was one of your best.

  • your good dude who taught how to play like that dude you play like ringo exactly

  • dam i cant keep the hi-hat beat with the bass pedal and the rolls. I can get my friends to do the tamborine then i can play it

  • Good job Batmankozy. I appreciate people posting their playing. But when you're doing an instruction video it had better be exact. Or... like yours. Ringo didn't do the hi-hat part as you did. I used to play my ching ring the same way, slipping it in here and there. Once you get a feel for it you can minimize it sounding off and really accentuate where you want it. And its nice to see you really hitting those f___ers. Rock on.

  • u do the same as me whe yu swing your stick side to side on the hi hat

  • Finally someone who plays it correctly

  • forr-real dood this guys good everything sounds on Q...

  • I love the black and white effect! Makes it look like it was recorded in 1965. Nice job!

  • awesome cover...ringo would be proud.

  • @chonichon07

No, Ringo would be pissed off that people can play his songs without struggling

  • @chonichon07 ringos not dead..

  • @g0atBallz420 he doesn't have to be to be proud ?

I never meant to say he was, just that if he were to see this he would enjoy it...

  • @chonichon07 you said ringo would be proud..as if he wasnt alive to see it

  • @g0atBallz420 okay I think I just explained what I meant...can u just enjoy the cover already...

  • One of my favorite Beatles songs. Nicely done!

  • I play in a brazilian pop band that makes a lot of beatles. always look your videos to play like a ringo.

Do you play in a band cover of beatles? living in the USA? thanks for your help and play more beatles songs!

  • Please tell me, why did i pick up bass and guitar? and not drums. looks so awesome to do.

  • my favorite Ringo beat of all time! and you even got the tambourine going at the same time, amazing! first hard rock song ever by my standards, and it wouldn't have been possible without this beat. 1964, wow 45 yrs ago ..thank you batmankozyy for continuing to rock this beat till today!

  • It's actually Paul's beat! He suggested it to Ringo.

John once said that Paul's contribution was the way Ringo played the drums.

  • Yeah Ringo still created most of the drum beats in The Beatles songs.

  • you came in with the beat change too soon , actually the the beat in the beggining and the beat after the 2nd verse and chourus changes up slightly , you did it right but a little to early ,listen carefully to the drums in the actual recording and you,ll see what i mean! , but great performance bravo

  • @glenmann62 No, he did it right. I muted the audio in batmankozyy's video and played the original Beatles recording instead, so i saw him play, but heard Ringo. And it was totally in sync! No beat change too early, everything perfectly in time with Ringo.

  • you rock man..congrats.:D

  • THANK YOU!!! Amazing!

  • the snare sound like ringo's snare great cover

  • you style to play the drums is great man

  • Will you ever make a Come Together cover?

  • it seems like a simple song on the drums, but its actually quite hard to play yeah? im not a drummer so i wouldnt know, great cover though 5* =]

  • one of ringos hardest

  • no realy its just two or three part if you read the music for it i can play this song and when you look at it its not that hard

  • one thing the end is hi hat not cymbal otherwise the rolls were done perfectly

  • Maybe in the studio version. But live, Ringo played the last part on the ride.

  • I am currently learning this song and you gave me the great idea of putting the tamborine on the high hat =) Thanks for the help as well with this song!

  • From one professional musician to another. Amazing job man. Perefectly tuned skins to the crashes to every beat. No misteps or nothing. amazing man. 5/5 from me. Peace from Detroit, Michigan USA

  • That was excellent. very clean, Good job

  • Big sound, solid and crisp! Are you left handed like Ringo? He said it made a difference in some of his licks.

  • yeah like this one you have to start the rolls with your left hand

  • yeah!!! please visit my channel! and wath some videos! I watched (i feel fine, dear prudence, and this! and I like so much this cover! =) to 5 stars!

    ((ºJº))

  • Thank you very much for your comment.

  • @Scottish15 ME TOO

  • Excellent drumming Bro!

You've got the music in you.

    You're a natural.

  • Thank you very much for the compliment.

  • this is one of ringos best drumming in the beatles

  • Yes, I think so too. Very artistic.

  • in my opinion you nailed the song from the frist drum roll all the way til the end. absolutely amazing

  • Thank you very much for your comment!

  • nice work. your almost as good as ringo

  • Oh! Thank you so much! I'm very glad of your word.

  • you did the hi hat job well! i think thats the hardest part of this song, Ive seen many beatles drummer, but now you're the best!!!

*cant hardly wait for She said she said =D*

  • I'm honored. Thank you very much!

Yes, "She Said She Said" !!!

  • this is a perfect example of ringo's genius. the tom roll in the beginning, to the syncopated rhythm with the hi hat taps on the beat. It's actually very difficult to do. and then the transitions fit beautifully. great drumming dude, you are doing ringo justice

  • Thank you very much for your comment and the evaluation to me. I'm so glad it.

  • @firmly6 i never knew that he does the hihat taps in the song damn ringo got some cherry i deas

  • awesome man! im amazed by every one of your videos! you clear everything up when im trying to play ringos stuff! great job!

  • Thank you very much! Let's enjoy his great drumming.
