FYI. The Supreme Court ruled the search unconstitutional on June 26, 2009 in an 8-to-1 ruling. It did not ban strip searches but merely ruled that the word of another student is not sufficient grounds to conduct as strip search nor did the defendants show that there was any immediate danger possed to others sufficient to warrant it.

One could come up with a situation in which someone was in immediate danger -- say several student saw her take someone's medicine and that person was having a seizure. Then the school would have grounds to strip-search her. And calling the cops wouldn't have done anything... it is not legal for the police to strip search her for a non-dangerous item based on the word of another student.

By law the School, can not do a strip search, it has to be done by a law enforcement Officers of the same sex. No evidence can be use if it is contaminated by the school. No Case.
