umm, there was no way the sword could have been in the set. They had to include the thornax, its a policy. And a canister set can't have that many weapons. Skrall got away with it because he had a sinple sword and a one-peice shield. Mata nuis sword and shield are much bigger and more impressive than Skralls. Also, then Ackar would be pretty much pointless because his two highlights are his color and his awesome sword. If mata nui had that sword AND a shield, Ackar wouldn't be cool. Comprende?

I think they didn't put the sword in the set so that the MOCers have something to do. You know, in the last 3 films, we made movie styles of the characters. Since in Legend reborn the animation is better, they did stuff like the Vorox sword and Ackar's, Kiina's and Gresh's normal weapons so we can try to make them.

ps. THANK YOU for not posting instructions!!! I know countless people on youtube that make a simple design like this and show how you build it, even though it's obvious!

This is not your original disign though this was mine I had this made right after I made my shield and I only did it because someone suggested that I make a sword so I made this version but the hole connector was rotated so the hole wouldn't be seen
