I can't believe so many people just don't get it. This sketch is funny because Bruce is the absolute best at being deeply, sincerely awkward. He's not acting like he's awkward because he's on camera, people like that just clam up. He's just being a character he embodies quite well, and that's basically a version of Napoleon Dynamite who's just a really nice, naive guy. There's no real undertone to it. They really just put Bruce out there to see if people would laugh something simple. And we do.
Maybe, just maybe, what's funny about this is how it is absolutely the dumbest thing they've ever done, and the sheer stupidity of it is what makes it ironically brilliant. You watch it and think WTF. That brings me a chuckle.
Are you kidding? Kids in the Hall had a unique comedy style. Kind of a Sophisticated Low brow humor. I always got a good laugh out of them and am glad they were canadian. You may say you're ashamed, but then why were you searching for this clip?

People like to go on about how "cutting edge" Kids in the Hall were....they aren't that funny and are more offensive than most comedy troupes. I've always felt ashamed that they are Canadian.
"fuck we got like 3 minutes left of the show we need before it's done, let's draws straws and whoever loses has to do whatever the rest of us agree with!"-KITH
*draws straws, Bruce loses*
"ok, you have to go out on the stage and dance in Thompson's gayest shirt, to the stupidest drum beat and not laugh"
"....... uh ok, only if you get me buzzed before and drunk afterwards"-Bruce
"only fair..."-KITH
(they are Canadian, as one that last part was needed)
the best. cheers me up. i love bruce and the way he shakes his head just a bit when he first enters and when he closes and opens his eyes during the strobe. haaaaaaa!!!!! nutso.
What does autism have to do with anything? Get your IQ up a few points and then come back and watch this. It's a pretty simple video but apparently too much for some people to grasp =P
You know that sketch their doing in their live tour (As live as we'll ever be) well recently I was thinking that this sketch kinda reminds me of that sketch if ya know what I mean
I agree. My father is a homosexual and for that reason, this video offended me. Also, that Mini Wheats commercial with the singing wheat chunk offends me too because I have a friend that died in a car accident.

FYI half of the memebers of the kids in the hall are all gay, if anything they always enlighten homosexuality and are not against it you fucking cry baby bitch.
@6173335 Ah, my comment was in response to somebody's comment that WAS anti-homo.. He was referencing something totally out of context soooo I did the same.
Keth, baby. This video has nothing to do with autism, you are sorely misinformed.
I have Asperger's Syndrome. Despite all the bullshit you hear, we're not all geeky freaks. Some of us, you wouldn't be able to tell there was anything different whatsoever unless we told you specifically. Same as any other difference that any other human has.
What the hell does autism have to do with this video? Relax, smoke a bowl, and just chill.
