MFS .223 55 Grain FMJ Ammo Test in Gas Piston AR 15

MFS-2000 is a Hungarian ammo plant and no where on there site does it mention anything about producing .223 ammo, let alone steel cased commercial rifle ammo which I have never encountered! They mainly make hunting ammo and pistol ammo....and of course mil. spec ammo for our armed forces over here - 7.62x39 etc.

I wouldn't buy the stuff because it sounds like a case of repackaging low quality ammo in "decent" quality ammo boxes.......this isn't the first time this has happened!

Yeah but the problem is that its not MFS ammo that you are buying, you are buying Brown bear or whatever else Russian steel case ammo but paying an extra dollars or two for the packaging.

MFS-2000 does not make steel case commercial ammo so what the hell is with the packaging????

I think MFS contracts this stuff out to russian factories. He may be right to say that .223 isn't made in Hungary. I've used the .223, great ammo for price as you mentioned and I had NO malfunctions whatsoever out of all the ammo I shot, each shot felt like the last. Just got a box of 500 in 7.62x39 to try out on my new sks which looks great.

MFS .223 IS SILVER BEAR!!! I did a video review... i will try to posy it as a response. but you might as well stick to bear ammo i find it to be cheaper. Either way it is the 100% exact same ammo. MFS is just silver bear in a black box. They are made in the same factory, they use the same bullets, same powder, same cases, same primers, and they have the same head stamps.
