A good RTD questions would be, With your initial impression with Warmachine, how would you and the other RTDers compare the playstyle of the Faction battle groups and the quality of the models to WH40K and WHF?

Hey man, I'm just now getting into Warmachine, that is I just bought the new rulebook. Thing is the race/faction I was interested in, Retribution of Scyrah, is hardly even mentioned. I've seen photos of their Warjacks? and Solos?, and they looked cool, but the book gives very little information of them.

My question is: Can you do an overview video that showed what strategy each side leaned towards, and what units/characters it used to pull it off.

@JavlinVII I honestly don't know enough about the armies right now, and I'm only focusing on the battle groups until after my next road trip. So I might be able to get to your requested video, but it will take more than a couple of months. On my video "Who are the Warmachine People in your Neighborhood" in the description area is a link to the Warmachine Battle college. That website has everything you probably are looking for. For the time being I just want to play the balanced battle groups

Sadly my camera wasn't working so I couldn't get pictures so I had to do a text based report (our ork player went missing so we couldn't redo it). I could type it here but with the limit in the comment size it makes it hard to really post it with going multi comment which can be annoying but I can do that if requested.

@doremicom Sadly I do not but here are some notes.

Now that there is no free BA codex, might want to change using that.

We actually had the dreadnought get immobilized within 3 inches of the scoring side, we didn't count it through.

Orks seemed to end with barely any troops left. While they may still win due to the mission, a win with only 3 or less models left is not as fulfilling which may be an issue with new players.

I have some ideas but need to think more on them yet.

@veilofdarkness000 Menoth is my main army, but I'm focusing right now on battle group games.... so I have a Khador battle group as well.  I'll probably pick up a Cygnar battlegroup before I go on the next road trip as well.
