@WatchOutPSN My guess all the dislikes are for the same reason I dislike it. The original clip contains one of the most perfect marriages of visual panning and music that I've ever seen. A real goosebump moment. This clip cuts in right at the perfect wrong time (36 sec mark) to show his face and kill the continuity of the scene. Watch the original, turn up the sound and tell me this clip didn't muddle up a great moment.
suggestion: to make it a bit more realistic and believable you could add a little camera shake and some sound effects in the actual helmet. everything else was ftw!
i seriously wanna know how to get after effects, or the stuff you are using cause you seem to know what yer doin'. Do u by any chance know where i can get this
This video was created using Adobe After Effects. As to where you can get it....well, either online at Adobe.com or if you are a student at a College or University, they may have a computer/software dept. and you might be able to get it at a discounted price.
@gphiproductions thanks so much! But I only have one problem with downloading it, it says it will only run on 64 bit computers. Mine is 32 bit, do you know if it is possible to run it on a 32 bit.
No, it is not possible to run Adobe CS5 64bit on a non Intel based computer. I'm having the same problem. I went to the Adobe site and tried to download it too but it won't run on my computer either. I've been searching but haven't had any luck so far. I recommend checking out various forums and keep searching online.
It's really good but on some parts the music just stops suddenly when it shows you inside the suit then the music plays back when the movie clip is showing. Great job though dude, this is like the best Iron man video I've seen on youtube so far.
OK first of all chancing color and adding lines is not a difference, an whats ur excuse for the face warp you chanced the bpc, an second if u thought about it an ud reaslise i dont care to upload on you tube i wrk in a studio an since u said that il upload a few samples of my work.
Just check out videocopilot. There is a tutorail there that explains how to do this effect. Once you learn how to do it just add your own flavor to it and that's it.
But next time i would suggest overlaying some of the sounds from his feet and hands i.e. what is making him go forward when you go to the clips of you inside, obviously not as loud but it would make it seem more realistic.
the same idea when it comes to shaking your "inside" clips a little bit, going that fast would surely move you!
the HUD on the top left is NOT blue.... but you have blue light on you face there ;) ..... and what would be nice, is a lil bit more "action" in the helmet.... like shaking etc.... just make a camera (also good for grid-depth) and make it as a child of a null-object wich wiggles on 2D space in x and y-driection so you'll get a shaky-cam ;) ... greets, me
lol in a half, thats one big fucking mask interior, u could live in that thing. but its not like we have access to hollywood programs and studios rooms. or do we? nice job though with scene cutting and placement, id say nice work on the HUD to if i didnt make one 2. although i made mine more terminator style than iron man, gud movie though.
O.K. I found AhmadAbdulhamid's post. I had to copy and past it.>>>
its nice to see extended version of Mr. Andrew tutorial ...and u did a great job but i have an extra comment i think u should do it...when iron man flies u should shake the video a little bit or as much as u prefer it to be shaky..but tension shot beside stable face shot..i think its not parallel somehow...:) what do u think
I thought about doing that when I was creating this project but decided not to do it. I thought if I were actually looking at the HUD's in a helmet that it would make sense for them to not be moving around too much so that they could be focused on better. So, I decided to leave out the shake for this particular project.
I definitely agree with this comment. You really need to create fully unique works especially if you keep re posting new versions. Most of all don't use video from a blockbuster film that is straight out plagiarism.
To figure out how to do motion tracking a good site to check out would be Video Copilot Basic Training #5 Motion Tracking.
It's been a while since I've done this project but I will try to explain what I did.
First I clicked on my original video footage and then under the tracker controls clicked stabilize motion. It will create a tracker point. I tracked my left eye.
If I remember correctly, I copied the tracking info under the "Feature Center" in Tracker Point 1. Under another comp. I created a null object , clicked on the drop down arrown and under the position pasted that tracker information. Then I parented my 3 targeting system comps to that one null object.
Just some constructive criticism : 1. some inside camera shacking would apply some realism . 2. More contrast. 3. dont overlap hud display elements
Hope it helps, great vid !
