  • Very interesting and didactic videos. Thank you!

  • Where do you get a bow meter? Sounds like a great learning tool.

  • A very compelling argument with good examples. Over the years I have gravitated toward having a looser bow. That is based on the tone and play-ability. I do purchase bows that have typically very stiff sticks and I do vary my tension based on the type of music that I am playing. Apparently, I have not settled on a particular tension but a variety of tension changes to suit. Very nice.

  • I am a young cellist and watching your videos help me see thing that seen out of my playing skill but would help in my every day orchastra pratice and now with were musical season starting it helps to see playing methods that could help in my playing for the pitt orchastra.

  • I'm a tight bow gal, myself. I find I can get a wider variety of colors with more tension, too.

    PS: nice bathroom.

  • Your videos made me going crazy about cello and started to practice with the correct method and techniques which proven with the better playing. Thank you so much Mr David. Keep on posting more because I will anxiously waiting to learn lots of things from you.
