Make sure you read the first time guide. It tells you what to bring and not to bring...drink lots of water and bring little gifts for people. There is no sell or buy. The only thing you will be able to buy is ICE, Coffee, tea. The rest of it is up-to-you

The last couple of days are great but you will find there will be a group here and there who just rolled in to get wasted and are only out for themselves. Have fun!!!

I'm surprised that you have to buy tickets for burning man, as I understood it was a communal thing and don't understand how there would be any costs involved for the people putting it on...
Burning Man event sounds like a experience you'll enjoy get needed supplies for the trip there before you go talk to person/s you decide to go with talk with'em about the event and if you go well you'll let us know what you think of it :)

Hey, unfortunately no but I have been preparing to go for like 3yrs but because it will be a VERY significant event in my life, I want to be fully emotionally and spiritually prepared for it, I may finally go this yr. I have talked to tons of people who have gone and my friends show me their pics and tell me their stories and I always look at the pics online afterwards. Did you know they have several regional burning man events around the country?
I've heard about Burning Man. I think I've seen lots of photos about it via StumbleUpon. Definitely looks like a rewarding experience. I kind of want to go, but my university starts before Labor Day this year, so it's not realistic for me to go this year. :( But I hope you have tons of fun! :D

I have heard of it in passing but know much about it. From reading the description it sounds like something that would appeal to your imaginative and creative nature. You must share video and experiences when you return. Adventure, celebration, creativity!!
Sounds like a hippy dippy lot of fun. But you will HAVE TO film at least some of it for us. Or at a bare minimum give us a report on some of its more scandalous proceedings.
So did you go? I've been going for nine years, but couldn't make it this year.

Money. I'm on the east coast and it can be expensive. My tent died last year in a wind storm, or more accurately it was murdered by a windstorm.
