  • im new to rc planes and i was wondering how much does the rudder turn the plane on a 3ch one cos otherwise i will buy a 4ch one.

  • YOu can buy the ARF version for $30bucks from R2hobbies(dot)com

THen you put your own gutts in it, this is the way to go! ;)

  • I have this plane and I really like it..

    Here's my setup:

    -1530kv brushless motor

    -20amp esc

    -11.1v 800mah lipo 3s

-9x4 SF prop.(not the thin ones)

    -spektrum RX.

    -one or two

AA battery in the nose for added weight.

This plane looks so nice in the air and will roll very easily. THe only problem is the landing gear. I need to adjust it after every single landing and I fear that it will eventually break. Bend it forward too. Love my Mustang

  • How did u put on the wheels

  • Hi

I had same problem. Converted to Bl with a 22/28 turnigy aerodrive 8x6 prop.

Lipo 1000 3s mounted max front position. under cover but ever land. Do you solve the problem? I will try mount a much weigth motor.

  • where did u get the pilot?

  • pilot was from a rc parachute I use to fly and thought it fit perfectly.

  • what its deminsions heightwise?

i just ordered one, and i want to make sure it will fit lol

  • Good question lol I dont have the plane anymore but the height of the canopy is about the width of three fingers. If it just fit you could cut alittle out and sink the pilot as well as apply some glue

  • @arcanumskin

thats too bad, it seems lieka really decent plane if you know what you are doing like the guy who posted a video response.

    good point

  • It was a fun plane, had it for about a year but it is a plane to learn on not a plane you keep. I have since moved onto ducted fan jets and strykers.

  • @arcanumskin .

good cuz i plan on learning on that nd a flight simulator

  • most definitely getting this plane

dont really care that i have never flewn before

  • whats the difference between a 4-ch rc plane and a 2-ch one?

  • 4 channel plane has more control inputs and outputs than a 2 channel. For example, a 4 channel has a channel for throttle, aileron, elevator, and rudder. A two channel will have only a rudder and a throttle. The more channels you have, the more realistic the plane will be. My mustang is a 6 channel. it has throttle, aileron, elevator, rudder, flaps, and landing gear.

  • 2 channel just has throttle control aswell as left and right. Full throttle makes the plane climb and cutting the throttle makes the plane land.

4 channel allows you to control elevator, ailerons, rudder and throttle. If you are just learning which sounds like you are I would go for a 3 channel plane.

    Thats elevator,throttle and rudder usually.

  • hey i think thats the one the rcsuperpowers reviewed

  • lol must have gotten a good one...most of these ive seen havent gotten off the ground or crashed even when flown by experts.

  • I have one of these and its excellent . I removed the landing gear and it performs very well on the stock motor. The only drawback is that it goes through props pretty quick. I even put a temorary smoke system on it and it still flew well. check my channel for vids of the smoke setup , and the unfortunate crash I had with it.

  • @surplusagent I was breaking porps left right and center until I bent the LG forward, try it out. Nice plane, better brushless ;)

  • The Parkzone one is better

  • Does it have alleirons?

  • i done fuckin care if its a rc plane it looks like a peice of shit

  • We are doing a transplant and making this plane with a brushless outrunner motor for the extra kick it needs. Its probably not the best looking plane but its a good plantform for us to show beginners how it all works.

    Cheers

    Paul

  • Take it easy. You don't even have a plane so don't critisize.

  • wat a peice of shit dose not even look close to scale

  • its a freken rc plane

  • ill be waiting for the maiden!

  • Sorry for the delay guys been really windy here. I should have something by the end of the week. Also I will be doing a review on the EDF Red Arrow so keep your eye out for that one.

  • oh ok thanks. well it looks cool!

  • i was thinking about buying this plane...does it fly well??? i have been having problems with brushed motors. very bad luck! plz let me know if the motor on this plane is brushed and if it is, is it powerful enough?

  • My advice would be to not buy this plane. Mine arrived and didnt work also they have sent 4 replacement electric speed controllers aswell as receivers to replace the faulty one. Guess what...... Still doesnt work. Also they do not give refunds....so I ended up with a really expensive piece of foam!!!!

    Paul

  • I have taken all of the original electrical parts out and put in some running gear from a 3 channel plane. It works now and im looking to do the maiden flight in the next couple of days and ill post the video here.

I also have a video of the 4 channel brushless corsair going up...subscribe so you dont miss out on the new vids.
