  • The last of Beethoven conductor that can play conduct with such clarity. There is no doubt in his music. So pure and strong.

    I feel that there is something missing in the world of art today, but when you listen to his music it restates and redefines the meaning of the art today. What a amasing conductor!!!

  • one of the last conductor where the conductor is not between the performance and the composer.... most of the performance includes unneccesary theatrics. Well, Karayan and DG changed the classical music to such a ...cna't think of the appropriate word... lacked artistic intregity.

    If you like his beethoven, then you should definitely listen to his Bruckner. HIs interpretations and performances of Bruckner's symphonies are comparable to Gunter Wand.
