The horrible 4 battery life for the $800 price tag is a downer. For that price i'll get the 11" air core i5.

they overprice this one, $600 I would price, 12'inch, 2 USB, and a 4 cell for 4 hrs of battery life. I see now they down to $749.99 on best buy but still a little high.

This is a pretty computer to look at. I don't know how it feels on hand though. I will check it out when i see one. I have mac pro 13. I use it for really long hours and I don't think it overheats. It gets hot to put on your lap without any barrier in between after 1 hour or 2 but that happens to many other computers with good ventilations. And my computer is really silent.

the vents on the bottom are for air intake, most laptops have them, apart from macs... which overheat...

A Core i5... That's is such a good CPU, but why such a low frequency ??

Architecture and memory control beats out frequency. Especially for low-power usage systems.

@sondano Forget 1.3... I still can't wrap my head around as to why 1.6 CPUs still exist... I mean, so what if it's dual-core.. Dual-core only provides extra power to applications that are written to take advantage of the second core.. Only then you would have a theoretical freq. of 3.2 Ghz.. But with most apps, you still have 1.6.. And THAT is a joke...

Some one needs to tell laptop makers how to make effective cooling! I had the HP DV2000, and the vent was directly on the back (like this one) and it ALWAYS got way to hot. I now have an HP Mini 210, and they finally figured it out. The vent is on the side, and it doesn't get nearly as hot as the DV2000.
