When you have a married couple who both hold jobs, the government takes both their income as the households yearly gross income, therefore if they together make 160,000 and they own their home (no mortgage to pay off) then their tax cut is a lot less than people who have a huge mortgage to pay off. how is that fair? for the people who work hard and make their payments... where as all the people who bought a home they couldn't afford they are getting huge tax cuts. there are a LOT of americans...

When you have a married couple who both hold jobs, the government takes both their income as the households yearly gross income, therefore if they together make 160,000 and they own their home (no mortgage to pay off) then their tax cut is a lot less than people who have a huge mortgage to pay off. how is that fair? for the people who work hard and make their payments... where as all the people who bought a home they couldn't afford they are getting huge tax cuts. there are a LOT of americans...

Here's the thing, I don't want a friend in office. All the hope and change rhetoric in the world cannot change that we're in dire times. I don't want to cozy up to countries (Venezuela and Nicaragua) where people walk around with machine guns to intimidate people from voting and free speech is non-existent. I want a leader who is not afraid to be disliked, unlike Obama.

Six years ago the Right called protesters sore losers and anti-American. To bad the Right didn't join the Left when lives were on the line and not just money.
It's easy criticizing when you're on the outside, but that's cold comfort when you live in a democracy and you're on the losing end of the vote.

No, we called you sore losers because you kept whining that Bush had "stolen" the election and kept demanding recount after recount in hopes that you'd win one of them; it had nothing to do with the fact that you protested, but with the MANNER in which you chose to protest.
More lives are on the line now than ever, and this time it's not JUST life or death, it's also prosperity or poverty, truth or lies, and morality or immorality. And heck, Obama's more of a warmonger than Bush ever was.

I wish we were wrong about Bush. Bush turn out worst than we imagined. He started unnecessary & costly wars & told us to go shopping. He did nothing to address the corp greed & the selfishness of our consumer driven lifestyles.
It's to soon to tell if Obama can fix our broken society, but at least Obama actually won the election.

This video brought tears to my eyes, though some refuse to see it, because they want to hold on to their own prejudice, I see real hope, I see a real end to racism.
Anyone who says that African Americans that attended or spoke at the tea parties are either tokens or have Stockholm Sydrome should be so ashamed of themselves.
This is what the Civil Rights movement was all about, people of all colors being allowed Freedom of Speech.

Im not even a conservative like this guy but I know I am proud to be a black american and dont suffer from STOCKHOLM SYDROME. Labor was prior to capitol, but property is the fruit of labor. Property is desirable, and is a positive good to the world. That some should be rich shows that others may become rich and hence is just encouragement to industry and enterprise.

Because in 2000 blks voted for Al Gore 86%. In 2004 we voted for KERRY 90%. Wouldnt it make since that they voted for OBAMA 94% especially if they are sick of the REPUBS who didnt make an effort to reach out to poor ppl.
