What made these series good was that they didn't have the great special FX we have now, so they had to create a eerie mood and atmosphere with incredible music and cinematography, which gave the show great suspension. Bill Bixby was a good actor, and the he created a man who we liked and cared for. He played a lonely guy who you could sympathise with.

I miss the incredible hulk tv shows thats why i got rtv so i could watch it every day except weekends and once a while they put a episode or two on scifi but its not the same

The series is a classic, I think Norton and crew did a better job then the 2003 movie. The 2003 movie, the hulk looked like Gumby on Steriods. I will say the Norton movie had the character look more like a linebacker then a bodybuilder. But they gave the character some cuts and a ripped look the first movie didn't have.

I don't know on what instrument. I did like the lonely man theme when Banner (Norton) was in rags after his hulkout. I think Joe Harnell would of been proud too have his work involved in the movie.

The wait is finally over the whole series is now here after 2 1/2 years of waiting since first season release.

It is also available in box set I think somewhere around $150 to $200. Season 5 has a gag reel i bet is hilarious. What sucks is final 5th season is only 7 episodes.

I have a question for you about the 5th season...did they actually film more episodes, and they just canceled the show in mid-stride w/o airing them? B/C, maybe now they can put those (eps) on the DVD...

No such luck I looked at the box set to see what it had ,just another documentary and a gag reel and the 7 episodes. From everything that i have researched Ken Johnson struggled to keep it going after season 4 cause first exec wanted to cut to 1 hulkout per show and Ken fought that and kept it at 2. There were 9 more scripts written for 9 more shows for a total of 16 episodes for season 5 and a possible series finale with Banner being found out and cured but CBS execs pulled the plug,the jerks.
