que pedazo de tema !!! un joya oculta que podria haber encajado en cualquier album desde Sticky para aca, lo tendrian que haber puesto en Goats head soup, para mi un poco mas pulido encajaba sin problemas..
What a great song !! a hidden gem that could have fit on any album since Sticky to this days, it would have to be put on Goats Head Soup, for me a little more polished fit without problems
This sounds fine as it is to me. They'll prob release this and a lot more that's already in the can now that they're too old to make records like they used to.
christ, between 65-75 almost everything these guys did was brilliant. even sh it they left off albums. enough great unreleased material to support another band. i think they were being modest calling themselves 'the world's greatest rock n' roll band' how about, ' the greatest contributors to western culture since da vinci'
Love this one! Clearly sounds like Brown Sugar and Can't You Hear me Knocking would sound mixed together with a touch of "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)"
many of todays "musicians" can not produce something like this on their best albums. For the Stones it's stuff they not even released. Stones have been so great.
@pbuotte I agree! Has more of a Sticky Fingers style groove. Can see why it didn't make the first "cut" though. Doesn't have the clearly defined "parts"....verse, dhorus, brides, breaks of most Stones songs. More of a jam. The Stones "just jamming" is better than the finished product from many bands though.
@swiggy58a I recognise a chorus and bridge there. This is an amazing sleazy Stones workout, they probably thought it to be t o o sleazy. It wouldn't have stood out of place on "Goats Head Soup". Alas,a few years later it was deemed " being not hip & sophisticated enough for the times" .That's why this gem didn't see the light of day, untill recently. That ringin cow bell...nice touch. With some more production gloss, and more clearly defined break ,this could've been a huge "Exile" era hit.

This was taken off in the place of Hide Your Love at the last minute. Shame because this is a more interesting song.

um what chorus. :D i went ga-ga for this when i was going thru my 'import' (bootleg) phase, to the point of recording two different covers of it.
