Im from southern california, and Oasis is a major influence in the music i write. So their music stretches farther than some of you lads from the UK may imagine
Hey worldclasscitizenforever GTFO dumbass. You look like a faggot. Leave, if you don't like the band then go somewhere else and QQ. Your comments are fucking stupid and so is your reasoning. GTFO and listen to your boring ass music punk ass.
@worldcitizenforever prog rock can suck my arse, just a bunch of dudes having a dick measuring contest with each other to see who can play the most notes over the weirdest chord.
ambient? what does that even mean? a load of birds and wind blowing through the trees some bearded geezer has taped and sold?
man you can tell they were high as kites for this one, well obviously they had to be it only fits along with everyone else. I think liam was so powerful for this one tho with the analgesic effects he becomes pretty nasaly at some points, then with the crazy huge venue not the best sound but I guess that was hardly the point of this gig.
i totally agree with you..liams style of singing doesn't stand the test of time very well, and drink and drugs combined with the fact that he's 35 now has taken its toll, i guess we all took liams voice for granted back in the 90's and we'd all give our left arms to hear him sing like that again!..i'll still love those guys till the day i die though
10 million people applied to buy tickets, but only a lucky 250,000 got any, making it the biggest demand for tickets for a concert in british history. this was 10 times more applications than there were for led zeppelin last december. and that's saying something.
Yeah, it was over two nights. 125.000 per night. Over 12 million tickets were sold or something. "The gig that defined a generation." Some might say, at least. This and Maine Road were their two best.
I found the track list for this whole thing, and made the whole show into a playlist, which you can find on my channel, by the way.

I always wonder how singers can remember the setlist, especially when they're off their nut drunk, as Liam was during this show...

Believe me, he wishes he could, he wants to, but 15 years of alcohol drugs and screaming his freakin lungs out, pays its toll.
He sounded pretty good @ Amsterdam 21st of January, for modern standards.
But they are still fucking legends, and they still tear the freaking roof of at any gig.
