many aspects of today's America that I don't agree with (such
as drug abuse, alcoholism, etc). I don't smoke or drink, so this
rubs me the wrong way. However, by the same token, I'm not
in favour of the Church placing restrictions upon us. I grew-up
in a super-rigid Catholic family, where EVERYTHING was a
"sin". This is not a good way to live.

@avaxtakaka Catholics have always been known for being OVERLY judgmental. Just look at their history. There's more blood on the Pope's hand than on Hitler's. The Pope looks at himself as "god-like" and expect us to confess our sins to him. The Catholics have left a bad stain on true Christianity by giving a wrong impression of God.
