Awesome car, brilliant work of art! Love the color as well. . However; how can any human dis-respect such a wonderful classic such as this, by over-dubbing the musical sounds of such a great car with Filthy rubbish american retard music, and idiotic cliche's "what a sweet ride"? I am beyond outraged by such behaviours! You own a classic work of art!! Why disrespect it ? This is like allowing an imbecilic baby to vomit on a classical work of Mozart! only worse!
The song used in this video, i think we can heard it into "back to the future part II" at the first time we see the Biff Tannen's building in the modified version of 1985

Dont forget to put 1:100 two stroke Oil API TC into the tank for each fill, because thats good for the carbs and the pistons..modern fuel does not take care of the old engine materials!
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree!

Beautiful car. I've had an on-going affair with the XKE since I was a teenager in 1962.

Cool! I have a 67 roadster in about a year away from finishing a full restoration on! Is yours "Desert Sand?"
bcfbasil 2 years ago
Thanks. It's "Golden Sand" according to the Heritage Certificate. Congratulations on your progress. Do you know about the E-Type forum on jag-lovers?

That was fun! What year is your XKE?
Looks like you have another one in the garage too - what year is that one?
quirpco 2 years ago
It's a 1966 roadster with the 4.2L engine. The other one is a 1971 V12 2+2.

It is kind of hard to do that since I am IN the car.

Nice car! That is my father's favorite car! I wish I could buy him one. They sell for such high prices. But that's the price you pay for a classic.
