Judy played Cinderella on radio--The Hallmark Playhouse, February 15, 1951. She sang, "Wishing Will Make It So." That also, was heartbreakingly beautiful.

@helenajesstarzak You know I have been watching your comment for a while now and for a while now I have been procrastinating and saying I will reply and wow can't believe how months has passed by since you put up that comment, but yes to answer Judy was in a famous fairy tale her most famous movie of all is a fairy tale The Wizard Of Oz that is a fairy tale duh!!!! silly its an MGM film she was young when she made it too.

@helenajesstarzak Well she didn't play a fairy tale princess in one of her MGM musicals in her twenties that would've been awful nice but she was in fairy tale her most famous movie was a fairy tale!!!!!!!! duh!!! The Wizard Of Oz it was a fantasy film and it was made by MGM but yeah she did play Cinderella on a radio show, and played an aristocratic women in the film the pirate with Gene Kelly close to a princess.

The Pirate is actually my favourite Judy Garland movie.
She was kind of "princess like" as Manuela Alva :D

@xlefreakcestchic eh? Sad .. pretty but old? At this point in Judy's career her voice expressed all the emotional timbre as a result of her wealth of experience, both professionally and personally. Sad? No, it is poignant and rich.
