  • The titanium alloy they are using (Grade 5 or grade 5 - ELV) is brutal to cutting tools and can take some force to machine. I only know since I am a machinist and I've worked with grade 5 a little.

    JC gave a good estimate on machine cost, and the titanium rod they use is not cheap at all! Great stuff tho!
