im sorry to be teching the tech, but your rolls are very dropped in and not stroked in, you should try keeping your back fingers on the stick while rolling, otherwise the diddles wont come through and they wont be open, they will be very crushed. Almost every roll i saw you play was crushed and the second stroke was noticibly quiter. the rolls wernt even and they sounded rather sloppy. Keep an open mind when reading this comment.
YOUR teaching skill is very good , a lot of people doesn't have the methods how to make other people understood with the theory or else, how to pack the high level theory to be came easy to read and follow , as we read the comics. thanx to be a good one and make me understand.
and for suggestion, if you want to make your vidio more entertaining, you should put the dramatic scene in the end of the note, you could inject with a comedy or ... somtn else, tnx mr
great idea for learning this rudiment! but i have trouble making double strokes on my toms.. do you tight them a lot when you tune them? i have them kinda loose because of the sound i like but i cant control the bounce of my stick...
Mike I was looking for a little something for my students and you came up with a good one with this lesson. You are out of sight. Great drummer. Thanks, JR
I finally realized that before you can move to any other drums with any rudiment, you have to first master just the snare drum first. Man it takes a long time but when you get it, OH HOE yeah now im a believer in all the hard long hours of repetiiton
yahtzee! i've spent soooo much time working ruffs and 6 strokes into my playing around the kit i totally left out the 5 stroke. thanks for posting this.so glad i found ya on youtube, please keep 'em coming. later fat mike.
your drum kit keep growing n growing n growing. for Christmas i wish santa would gave me a pas. to visit your drum set n play for only 2 hours. to try it out.
