  • love it!

Where did you get it From?

  • Everything about Concorde I like....,very nice dude....that's a awesome ,lovely machine...it's sad it's been grounded ...it gives great satisfaction to watch vids like this of Concorde...double like...pl update once u finish the final version...

  • This may come off as odd to some of you, but I found this video incredibly easy to masturbate to. Especially when you flipped to the underbelly of the plane.

  • I only WISH I could make something that good.

  • Nice looking model there mate. Looks nice with the led's installed. I am about to do the same thing with a giant Hercules kit along with mini motors to spin the props. I will upload a vid when i get around to finishing it.

  • well done, fantasic model that amazing, brill lights.

  • Perhaps the greatest contribution to commercial aviation no longer can take its place amongst the skies. Tragic.

  • that's a beaut, Congratulations! shame the 1:1 isn't flying now!

  • WHERE do YOU buy THAT thing?

  • @SirKamiloPL : Cheers for the comment. It could do with more stuff though. The engine cowling needs more detail and the static discharge wicks along with the tail-wheel need to be added. I didn't have time to complete it all. Just too busy these days, I'm afraid.

  • too many LEDs.

  • @spshecot : And? Your point being? LOL. Too many LEDs are always good. Just a couple makes it very boring.

  • @aerofoil74 LOL indeed xD

  • HE DIDNT DO THE NOZE TILT THING

  • looks brilliant!

  • @RoboticusMusic : We know it's 'fake'. That's why the title is called "Concorde Model". Well done for stating the obvious Lt. Columbo !

  • @aerofoil74 liiiiiiiiikkkkkkeee??

  • @RoboticusMusic it says model you retard

  • @elliothellfire no way it's not a model it's plastic or just magnets look.

  • @RoboticusMusic you really are a very silly boy

  • @MrFlix76 You thought it was real?? xD

  • @RoboticusMusic no of course its not real! u do though

  • @MrFlix76 Smooth :D

  • @RoboticusMusic you look plastic

  • @RoboticusMusic ur stupid...obviously this is real....it was an unveiling in a very large hangar with extremely large hangar doors.....duh sheesh kids now a days

  • @hifeyracer It's not even hanging dumb ass its on a platform. It's plastic you faggot.

  • @RoboticusMusic LOL ur easy to troll...btw a hangar is also a place where they keep planes...L2 context

  • @hifeyracer LOLWUT

  • @RoboticusMusic :D ur so random

  • @hifeyracer As opposed to? What vinyl?? Don't be retarded.

  • Super! The lights really bring it to life, and show what a dramatic plane it is.

  • @mookins45 : Cheers mate.

  • Nicely done, you should have made a "making of" video of it too!

  • Nice work, no sign of seams, even paint finish airbrush?

Excellent attention to detail with the lights

Only one thing you could have added, some orange lights in the Olympus ports to simulate the candles being lit.

  • Excellent I loved the originality and creativity ... Today I bought a British Airways Concorde on the scale of the Revell 1 / 144 and will start building immediately.

Being used to make montages of cars and motorbikes aircraft ever in life

  • Excellent I loved the originality and creativity ... Today I bought a British Airways Concorde on the scale of the Revell 1 / 144 and will start building immediately.

  • do the wheels go in?

  • dose its wheels go in?

  • cool kann mann dir das apkaufen

  • Holy ****

  • @ThePilotpatrick .. Yes, the nose can point downwards , but for now ,I've put a tiny bit of glue to hold it in the supersonic streamlined position. If the lights burn out , I may have to break the tab and drop the nose in order to change the white LEDs. That part is a tad tricky. But yes, it can be in droop snoot ...but personally i think it looks better with a 'clean nose' position.

  • i dread to think how much that cost...

  • @Sammyy46 ... The model itself wasn't that expensive. The time and energy taken to build it , was though ! lol. The LEDs and wires were expensive ...not to mention the circuit that needed to be built etc. I would say it cost me roughly £300 to build (including materials, glue , wires, LEDs etc and the main kit). That's a rough guess. It could be higher ! lol

  • where do u get the flashing LED ?

  • @AceCobra1 ..Everyone keeps asking me the same questions on here. I wonder if anyone bothers to read the little description next to my video? lol. Anyway , just to repeat myself over and over ...the 'flashing LEDs' come from a circuit , that I built. I bought the LEDs separately and I wired them up. They don't come 'ready made'. But I suppose you could buy an LED circuit kit that already does that , so it will save you the hassle of building it from scratch.

  • Fantastic modelbuilding! A credit to the now defunct Supersonic Transport....

  • were u get this aircraft man

  • @xshadowkillerx1 .. I built this plane. I didn't 'get' this from anywhere. The kit can be bought online and then you have to wire the plane up yourself with lights, circuits , battery etc. You have to buy those separately. This wasn't done before on a 1/72 kit.... so No , you can't just buy or get this plane from somewhere with flashing lights. lol.

  • :) WOW THIS IS AWESOME

  • I wish you could make a video showing how to do this. I wish wishes came true. lol, very nice job on this!

  • @jamiekenta ..Cheers mate. I am planning to build an airbus A340 , with lights etc, if I do have the spare time. I'm pretty busy these days , so it might have to wait. lol.

  • @aerofoil74 well if you do, take pics of the build and make a vid with it! it would be very interesting to see how you get the build process of one of ur planes!

  • wow! that is incredible - how did you do the lights?

check out my channel for airfix videos :)

  • where did u get it

  • is it easy to wire models up with lights

i have a 1:48 eurofighter typhoon and am toying with the idea of hud display lights

and wing tip lights and all the other lights that go with it. any tips would be great thanks.

  • Fantastic. Any chance you have a wiring diagram for this? Would really like to try myself.

  • This is so beautiful. You must have worked hard to make it so perfect. Your supreme knowledge of planes made it so very correct.

  • just awsom, are you doing anyother planes?

  • holly santa clause shit!!!1

  • wtf r the red flashers doing in the wing. you fail

  • @jthqrules : The red strobes are on the actual Concorde wing root ! Why don't you have a look at the actual footage of Concorde taxying and you'll see that I haven't failed. You're an idiot for trying to correct me on this one! Why don't you check your facts before trying to correct me.

  • @aerofoil74 Don't worry, that guy is just a noob who knows nothing about planes but still leaves comments that reflects his ignorance towards the subject. lol

  • @igneousrocklad.... lol .. true , there seems to be people who either can't read , or are simply confused/ignorant about the actual aircraft. But good point.

  • @jthqrules Your stupid !! The red light are always in the wing when aircraft is in motion!! Go check all the aircrafts and you will know why >>>

  • @jthqrules dude they are strode lights as the creator of this video has said i highly doubt you can make anything that good. you fail

  • Looks gorgeous!!

  • Very nice build! The lights make it a nice added touch! Good job!

  • The Christmas lights are the best - i used them on a runway a few years back, great model + great vid.

  • @elementmaniac i have one too but broken very hard to paint takes 4-6 hours if you can manage 1-3 hours

  • sorry elementmaniac , I removed your post by accident! Didn't mean to do that.!Yes, it takes forever to assemble and paint it. The trick is to have some of the parts masked off while painting , so the glue can stick properly to the plastic. The wiring and landing gear construction was one of the hardest. The nose lights was a nightmare too.

  • @aerofoil74 its hard to manage it right but the Me-262 takes 20-50 minutes to to fix and paint even though you can't manag it

  • It kool !!!! Very fast

  • thats amazing!

  • Cool luv Concorde flew on it twice in 2003 what size kit 1/72 or 1/144

  • very nice model.

  • if it was always like that it would get destroyed on the landings and while taxing.its only in the down position during flight.

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did you make it?

  • he used airfix amazingly

  • great build!

  • Outstanding, i'd love to add this 1:72 beast to my collection, but i do't have the room...

    :-(

  • what kind of battery do u use?

  • Thats Amazing! i did the same thing with a revell a380 with interior... it didnt turn out as good:(

  • Very nice job, Thumbs up, bravo. The paint job ans assembly are very nice too. I like it.

  • Thats Truely Amazing!

    Im Stunned!

    5/5 Faved

    ~ WJ "Joseph"

  • this model is absolutley stunning the l.e.d's a placed perfect... ive just finished building my airfix concorde 1.72 i desided to add l.e.ds to late on as i had 2 squeeze in the wiring i was gutted when i saw this model .. its a perfect model!!!

  • Cheers -djspotty2008. The LED lights were custom made , by trimming them and sanding them to the right size before fixing them to the sockets. The electronics of the aircraft lie in the belly. The aircraft has 2 switches to turn On and Off the strobes and the Navigation lights ; one on the nose and the other one is on the tail of the Concorde. I have to fix the tail-gear which hasn't been done yet. The strobing effect comes from a 555timer chip , and can be done with a bit of tedious soldering.

  • I have made models myself, but I could never attempt to make it as nice as this one. I don't have the knowledge or the ability to do it. ....... I am so jealous of this guy.....I guess its a guy, as most women don't do models.

  • liamdunfey, you dolt, he did it himself, from a simple plastic model kit...............Don't you read the comments?

  • were about did you get this an how much

  • Gorgeous ! Did you custom fabricate the lights?

  • Here I am again. Its amazing!

  • I keep coming back to look at this again and again! Its awesome!

  • sexy! it looks like a visitor from another world.

like from Kubrick's 2001 or so. whow!

  • nice mate

thats a good model im half way making one and there's something called clear fix i dont know how to use it if u know how tell plz

  • Very good indeed

  • I keep going back to look at this, Its amazing that one could do all this from a bunch of plastic and a knowledge of planes to put extra parts on it to make it look so real. Very well done and congratulations!

  • thats amazing! did you make that?

  • wow

  • Just another tip - since the model you will make normally exceeds the weight the plastic landing gears can handle , it is advisable to make metal parts , just like in this concorde to take the extra load. This model is quite heavy and the plastic landing gear struts provided were too fragile, so I had to make all the landing gear parts from scratch using brass tubing and aluminium tubes and steel rivets , including radio control aircraft rubber tyres , which you see on this video.

  • Very well done, the last plane I saw lit as well as that was a big 1/48 c130, but give me the concode any day.

  • Very nicely done. Any tips for us mere beginners??

  • Cheers for the comments -people. I would say as a tip , try to find out as much as you can about the aircraft you want to light up. ie look for videos and photos for the positions of the strobes and wingtip lights and then see if the scale you have can house all the electronics and the batteries. Some models are too small to wire up and the LEDs in proportion 'buldge' or stick out looking ridiculous in proportion to the structure. So I would say use large scale models if possible

  • Awesome....yup model maker won't install the lights....we have to!

  • where did you get that?

  • I built this model from scratch using parts from a 1 : 72 scale Airfix kit and wired the whole thing up myself with 10 LED light bulbs and circuitry. It was a complicated project. This WAS NOT already wired up and for sale anywhere. You can't buy this with lights in any shop. You have to make it yourself.

  • This is simply beautiful with all the strobing lights flashing.
