You know, there are websites up that help suicidal people release their feelings and thoughts out in a blog such as Tumblr. Believe it or not, it saves people. You could just open up Microsoft Word and start typing in stuff or even write a letter to yourself, but the fact that you're actually posting your feelings out in public makes a big difference. It makes you feel more comfortable, and get the feeling that some how you are being heard, and that all your cries for help aren't ignored.

I like the idea, I just don't see that Google, Facebook, Yahoo, YouTube et-al have the balls to go through with it. If they did it for just 24 hours though... or even better Blank screen their sites globally for 24 hours with a link to a relevant site about why they Blank screened. The impact of wilfully removing services in protest of SOPA would certainly ram the message home.

I have an idea that would work really well if enough people would do it. Instead of going to the movies, or to the mall to buy a new DVD or CD, take all of the crap you don't watch or listen to anymore to a used book/media store, trade it in, and buy someone's stuff they don't want to watch or listen to anymore. 100% legal and if everybody did this for just a few weeks those tools in Hollywood would be slipping on their piss as they told Congress to stop.

So as far as our freedom to submit stuff w/ copyright is concerned I wonder what the big 3 (youtube,facebook,google) will do. I think the right place for hollywood to take action isn't us doing internet reviews or what have you, but those people with terrabites of information.Yes, I'm looking at you! That's one thing that I wasn't sure about, all copyright material like videos and movies except what we want? now, if it's left to the owners discretion, that's one thing. A lot of music is on youtube simply cause the owner doesn't want it taken down.
