Wonderful video and have referred it to many. Would like to use the video in a presentation that my wife is giving to her company. Her company donated new clothing to 17 women who lost homes in fire. This is for their spring meeting where my wife is to document the generosity of those in the company who facilitated the donations. Can I get a wmv/mpeg version to tie to the power point presentation? Sorry am ignorant of how these things work and I also wish to give credit where credit is due.
i didnt fight this fire but i did fight the wildcat fire in san angelo texas. it burned 135,000+ acers and it was diffacult and it was a tough one but im happy this is over i just hope everyone that lost everything pulls throught!
this video made me cry because i just lost my house and two horses because of this fire and it has been very hard for us to move on but we are grateful to god for allowing everybody to escape this terrible tragedy.
I drive down that stretch of HWY 21 and eat at that shopping center off of Ed Burleson Ln every few weeks. I haven't been other there since the end of July. I hope they are ok. One of my clien's mother's lost her house in Bastrop, Thank God she had insurance. I'm getting stories from that area and over closer to me in Montgomery and Magnolia that a lot of folks didn't have coverage. WOW!!! What do ya do there, but just start over from scratch. My prayers go out to everyone effected.
emmtay - the large planes shown are all prop planes and are from the fire, the photo taken from a commercial airliner is from a passenger flying in to Bergstrom..

Not all of these pictures are form the Bastrop fire. They haven't used the DC10 yet and just announced that they aren't planning to. Some of the photos in this video show a tanker jetliner so it can't be the Bastrop fire in those particular pics.
Still, this video has a strong impact. Such a terrible fire. I hope it ends soon.
@emmetay There aren't any photos of the DC-10 in the video. All of these look like Bastrop to me. One photo is out the window of a passing Southwest flight. One big tanker is a C-130.

Heartbreaking.... Pray for this desperate situation. I don't know how people go on with their lives from here except to put it in Gods' hands.
