@85funnyguy I don't think that was an option on the v6 version. But you could always sand/paint them or find spare bumpers and grills and install them! I've thought about doing it.

Thank you for posting this! Man that sounds aggressive for v6! How much louder is it? is there a drone in the cab? Loud? did it affect mpg or performance? are you generally happy? by chance you got a pic of the setup? Do you think a 2010 v6 3.7 will sound the same? backfire?
@cyberpine Hey thanks for the comment!! That is alot of questions! I'll try and answer a few. Ima make another vid of the ram in about a week so that may help aswell. It is pretty loud both in and out of the cab. It may get annoying on long trips of several hours. But it's not that bad around town, especially when you realize the ppl next to u can hear it just as loud! The '10 3.7 MIGHT be the same motor. All large v6 sound similar tho.
@uscgkid109 Cool! Yea the sandy gold is a popular color for the regular cabs. I see a lot of regular cabs around in my area aswell, but only a few sound like this. The rest are stock V6's. I have seen a few with Hemi or the 4.7 tho (which i wish i had in mine lol).
That sounds awsome! the 50 series really sounds good. about how loud would you say this muffler is at idle and then when pushing about 2K-3K Rpms? I presume the 3.7L V6 is roughly the same in a Ram and a Dakota? I have a Dakota and lm looking to get a muffler for my truck to give it some rumble. but need it to be a suttle rumble so I can drive anytime of the day or night with it. Nice truck man!
I went to a local Mitas muffler shop and it took them 30-45 min max. They cut the stock muffler and end pipe and brackets off and installed new brackets made for the new muffler and added the turn down and mounted the muffler.
I can't be totally sure, but my guess is, yes it would have the same sound.
I believe the engine has remained the same since the 02 model. If it has, then it should sound the same as long as you get the flowmaster 50 delta flow series and a 3" turn down outlet. That's what I have and I love it. =)
Yea me too! I had just got some 10" subs put in but now its a big debate when i drive the truck what i want to listen to: The subs, or the engine! lol.
I know how that is! I just upgraded mine to 3 10's in it! lol, im glad for electric start so i can hear the truck from the back, then go to some good ole bass. haha
can you get the colored grille and bumpers on the ram v6
