  • theyre cute! *****

  • to all of those ppl who are sad and lonely , stop hating others like seriously go find somthing better to do instead of offending innocent gypsys. and for one of the comments on here, there are a family i know of who are gypsy and they have seven kids and they provide for them just fine in fact they said to me once " dont bring an innocent being into the world if you cant provide for them"

  • why do the gypsys have such white teeth? They live in the desert. I must be brushing my teeth wrong??

  • @TheGoddessRene because they have dark skin. it makes contrast and their teeth seems to be whiter

  • Soske na gilavena Romane ola da bisterge pi romani cib :-) nice video

  • If you like Gypsy music, pleae could you visit my channel. I have uploaded Gospel & secular tracks of the very best of Gypsy music (all in Romanes, bar one). Thanks.

  • Their voices are magical

  • Think their also mention in a famous 5,000 yearbook called "The Bhagavad Gita" which to this day has people like Albert Einstein & famous accient greek philosophers and romans ect... giveing it full marks.

But anyways i think their mystery gives them their charm, they seem always happy like a new day of life a new day to shine.

Wish i could meet one to be honest but dout i'll ever get that luck seeing as i cant even travel to london with out getting lost lol :( cool people though huge history

  • The song is so pretty with their harmonies =)

  • I am from a muslim family with some rajahstani heritage (rathore) and i'm proud of it, people need to shut up about all the religion bullshit, yes the rajputs resisted muslim invaders but many were also fighting alongside the mughals, please dont open your mouth unless u know the full history.

And to those idiots callin these women rats should go jerk off to some blonde bimbos if u dont like what u see here!

  • @kaliyuta..because you still have people who think the are supierer to others

  • The one looks like a man...

  • They are so beautiful!

  • There are enough indians who r still addicted to the caste system.... It seems to exist enough indians who think and act like a NAZI. What a pity... all the cultural and natural beauty of this country is fading away with the raccistic comments of it´s ppl.

  • are they from india?is this india?

  • @MyLalinea yes

  • OMG?? WTF is this rats?

  • love !!!

  • BornInAfghanistan (SO STOP TALKING OUT OF YOUR ISLAMIC ASS HOLE)

  • Therefore, the gypsies originated in India. In the 14th century, the gypsies migrated from India, traveling throughout current day Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran to reach the Ottoman Empire, or now as it is known, Turkey. Once they entered Turkey, the gypsies continued to migrate up through the Balkan countries. That is how the gypsies settled in the Eastern European region.

(which is why they are writen and spoke the indo-european lauge) like the greeks and the celts & the portugese ect

  • Ancient India to the Ottoman Empire to Destination Europe

Where did the gypsies originate and what language do they speak? Most people think they speak a form of a dialect of Romanian or a Balkan language, but in fact, they speak a language that is related to contemporary Indian languages. The language is called Romany, and the common Eastern European word for the gypsies is Roma.

  • Gypsies originated in India and migrated to the Middle East and Europe. Entertainers and craftspeople, they've suffered from prejudice and persecution.

The gypsies are a mystery to many visitors to Eastern Europe. They are a mystery to Eastern Europeans as well. The gypsies are known as a traveling group of dark-skinned people that inhabit the cities and countryside of the region. Unfortunately, the word "gypsy" has a negative connotation many Eastern Europeans see them as a common

  • @jimbob202019 why indians imigrate to europe?

  • @Dymitry95 just the same reason why the celts imigrated to england, everyone on this planet has gone through imigration, its just people dont look into history enough.

  • @Dymitry95 i mean portugal its self has came from rome in its accient times, and the accient romens was celts and celts lauge was indo-european. meaning you have indian in your blood line lol

    so really YOUR THE RAT

also these RATS as you call them are the people that stuck and fight while your blood line ran like sheep when war broke out in asia, do you think its funny how jesus birth has now been found to be 100% WRONG :)

  • @jimbob202019 the gypsies are a mystery to themselves. they dont know where they themselves come from.

  • @CT2507 They dont but the vedic scripts do!

  • @jimbob202019 i doubt that very much actualy.

  • @CT2507 i dont because they are in the scripts and the vedic scripts are the oldist eurean writeing on the planet, its writen in sanskrit which is why all european languages are indo-european, the first discriptions of white people are in india and they are called aryans.

Its already been proven... also their are drawing & carvings of these womens clothes on walls in india which even out date the scripts and anything else in europe

  • @jimbob202019 i have heard from a reliable occult source that the gypsies as a people were thrown out of Shambala. that they had some kind of authority that they misused and was set to wander the earth with no memory of their origin. they were a kind of servant people in Shamabala with keys to everything but obviously couldnt be trusted.

their skills in magic, hypnosis, forseeing of the future and that kind of thing are a remnant of their abillities from that time.

  • @CT2507 They are from a place called (((Sindh))) as it states in the scripts, then it goes on to say they travelled far across asia to Egypt... after that their is no sign of them but as the world knows now that when they reached Egypt they got the name gypsies.

They are also know as Roma, Romani, Gypsy, Sinti, Luri, Luli and Kohlis.

In india they danced and sang for royals and went from place to place intill they vanished which i guess is what your friend was talking about,

  • @jimbob202019

Who said that the White people were called Aryans. Nooop! Aryans were those who spoke sanskrit and they practised various rituals and rites. The rest who did not - they were called mlecchas by the Aryans. A recent paper in Nature journal has shown that all the people of India are a mixture of Dravidians and Indo -European ancestors (excluding the mongoloids and few other groups)... Read more ...

  • @CT2507 You do know that the English language its self is indo-european? the word mother comes direct from the sanskrits of india.

  • @jimbob202

Another nonsense - the word mother does not come from sanskrit. It comes from some ancestral language that may have pre-dated all languages of today by 40-50 thousand years or even earlier.

  • @CT2507 what do the vedas say about the gypsies?

  • I wonder if thats a real desert or a background they are sitting behind it

  • los ron somos de 1 de isrrael de 1 tribu perdida en el desierte nosotros no tenemosnada ke ver con los indios ni con egipto en fin dios los bendiga a todos

  • Haha they are kinda creepy the one girl was breast feeding and singing

  • Comment removed

  • @secretlyallie yeah thats just cause we are from the west and believe babies were born to be fed out of glass jars of gerber. They do not see it as weird or distastetful in India, but better and more natural for the baby. The grownups eat in public so why not baby! =) lol Also...they are a long way from a supermarket...

  • This girls are happy ,no pretenses ,love them

  • they don't sound or look like men and to all the people who were being jerks (yes i am very aware this is over) shut the frack up and make a chat room or something don't spam here

  • I am a gypsy from america and I will agree 100% that gypsy originate from india there are people in my family who look just like indians!!!!!!!! and some the words in our language is indian and the reason why not all of us look like like indians is cause our people mixed with alot of other races

  • @rickykboy

Gypsies originated in modern day Afghanistan. Bulgarians can actually trace their culture and lineage back to the region. We still have millions of gypsies in Afghanistan, we call them "Kochi" You can search the term on Google and see for yourself.

    These Indians are disgusting.

  • @BornInAfghanistan

    *Kuchi (in English)

  • @BornInAfghanistan hey pig head.. heres the thing you idiot... hinduism has a history line of past 10,000 years, their hindu skrits are writen in sanskrit which is a PERSIAN LAUGE... it is the oldist writen lauge on the face of this planet, sanskrit is a (INDO-EUROPEAN LAUGE) meaning europeans got their lauge from it, (FACT) Gypsies are (DRAWN ON THE WALLS OF THE INDUS VALLY) the indus king was a sumerian bloodline...

afghan is shit whole drug town, all your owmen have aids

  • Son bellísimamente ajenas a nosotros, los occidentales "civilizados"... esas vestimentas, los colores, las voces, hasta la franqueza de su actitud frente a la cámara. Qué pueblo hermoso y ancestral!

  • don't try shrink me gypsy. i serious.

  • que bella su vestimenta,y lindas como cantan¡¡

  • Eunuchs in India and Pakistan are called Hijras. These are hijras not Rrom.

  • why are ppl talking so badly about them?

  • @kaliyuta wait until they steal your chickens.

  • india " In 1990, Dr. B.V. Subramaniam [3] of the Surat Medical College wrote a paper based on his research on the making of a eunuch. The study reported that most eunuchs in India were the result of forced castration. The method adopted for the surgery is crude, unscientific, threatening to the health of the patient and done in the most unhygienic conditions....."

    savage people

  • i often wonder if any rrom/gypsy person wants to visit or return to india...after all , they wanted to go back at the beginning of their migration ... they kept traditions alive .

  • im not a gypsy hater , most of romanians are not.

there are some complains and the most important to me is that you have too many kids that you can not provide for. nobody can tell you to have 2 kids instead of 7 but i want romanian ethnics to remain a majority and to preserve their culture. all peoples of europe must preserve their identity. i dont like globalization .

  • you forget romania has the biggest number of rrom/gypsy in europe. that shows they can live here and thrive. i know what you're saying about the industrialization and is not quite the same situation america experienced. the gypsy here were skilled in different trades and lived somehow in a caste system ....you know it better. many of the so called"slaves' were free to travel and work and sell their products.

  • day r indians so call gypsys n u guyjos call us the roma gypsys 2 bot we r not 1 ppl n 2 say guyjo is 2 say not r ppl n all indians r guyjos 2 us i am snake a roma man i know what i say

  • Then what are they? I'm generally interested to know.

and 0.27 onwards song is "Sun O hasina Kajal Wali Mera" u can watch at

    /watch?v=2jMnIcJnimM

btw the gypsies called Banjara are from Rajasthan

  • it is not like they're bad from birth , cause they are not...it is just the fucking family environment that is corrupt , their traditions...

  • they are not that shit you say. the one in the left has a baby that is drinking her milk.

  • oh i'm sorry i take it back lol you right lol my indian boy friend said that they were men, but i guess they are just kinda ugly, sorry

  • @theoneandonlyolya do not judge unless you are there...

  • @theoneandonlyolya i was just going to say... at least one of them is a woman.

  • no schools in your neighborhood , dude ?!

  • Hey, those ppl aren't very good looking. I'm not saying that there's not some good looking Indian Gypsies...I'm just saying that they are very masculine looking. As far as not mixing with "gadjo" or "gadzo" or "guyjo" (or whichever way you pronounce "outsiders" in your dialect), that's straight garbage. Gypsies claim to not breed w/ outsiders, but many intermarried w/ outsiders EVERYWHERE they went. It wasn't just "rape." That's documented, dude. The Roma DID steal & cheat

  • (continued) people at times. That's how the term "gyped" came about. If someone cheated you, you would say that they "gyped" you. People used to call the Roma "Gypsies," cause they thought that the Roma came from Egypt. I'm not saying all Gypsies were cheats or were dishonest, but many were. My stepfather lived next door to traditional gypsies in California, in the 1960's. They used to steal furniture out of peoples yards, and even stole ppl's cars. Many gypsies are good people though.

  • imagine they call themselves rromani and my people is called romani...living in the same country , Romania. every time a gypsy /rroma thief is caught in an european country , the media presents that person as a romanian person . and there were hundreds of such "news"...

we should respect civilized , hard-working gypsy people.

but the uncivilized and the thieves and the criminals ...there are more of this sort... should rot in jail.

  • Are you Romani yourself? Yep. I agree w/you. The thieves give the good Roma a bad name. Unfortunately, it seems like they act dishonest to uphold sometime of reputation. The majority are probably honest now, but your right; those that can't behave themselves should be put in Jail. Romania (itself) has a great & varied history. A lot of battles/transitions took place their too.

  • well , im romanian , not rromani. there is a confusion that harms our country. romanians are related to some old tribes of europe and we speak a latin derived language. rroma/rromani known as gypsy or tzigani are nomads of india (probably) that arrived here a long time ago , too.

it resembles the situation of the black people in the usa. the gypsy/roma were slaves here a couple of hundred years. the were liberated in the early 19 century (im not sure when). slavery is wrong , of course.

  • Very true. Some ppl probably don't know the difference between Romanians and the Romani. You guys have the ancient Thracian/Dacian history and dealing w/invasions from the central asians too. The huns, especially, seemed to invade & mix heavily in the Balkan areas. Also, the Bulgars & Avars. You have some of the most interesting Euro history. Plus you guys have Transylvania. Given ppl's current obsession over vampires, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get a ton of tourists.

  • I believe we were "liberated" in the latter half of the 19th Century. Because of increased mechanisation, the price of Gypsies/slaves dropped dramatically, to the point that a Gypsy represented a negative value. And so they were "thrown away"; and such throwing away was dressed with words like "liberation", "emancipation" and "abolition of slavery".

In Australia and N. America, there was a shortage of labour and population, and it is in these two regions that Gypsies have lived normal lives.

  • im sure any honest human being can make a living anywhere , not only in australia and the usa.

not all the gypsies shared the same life.

  • I think they are a kind of "gay" people; maybe not Indian Gypsies at all.

  • THey could be. They're probably different than those that are considered transgendered, in India (can't remember what they call them there). Either way, these two are way too masculine looking to be female.

  • Eunuchs ...i understand these "men" try to resemble females and engage in prostitution and so.

  • That's right. THanks for the info. I had actually seen something on them a few years back, and could not remember what they were called.

  • they are ppl!!!!!

  • so , to every advocate of criminal behaviour : dont find excuses , you dont live the consequences of their doings.

  • school is for everybody here , so are jobs , soap and water.

of course some integrated and are fine citizens. because they were decent. those dont want to be counted as gypsies. poverty is not an excuse to steal , kill and rape. poverty should make you teach your children to work , learn , and be respectable.

my family and other romanian families struggled sometimes. but they never sent their kids to beg , they sent us to school.

  • yes , thieves , teach your children to work , learn and be respectable!

    too much for you?!

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe if gypsies in Europe weren't treated like trash and allowed to be a part of your culture, they wouldn't have to beg or steal to make ends meet. I remember going to Romania and working with gypsies who were judged by other Romanians on sight without a single idea of how honest and kind my friends were. Stop being a bigot!

  • you can formulate an opinion about the gypsy community here if you live here !

did you ever wondered why were they treated like trash?! you live in a fantasy....they discriminate themselves by not going to school , not being qualified workers , not searching a job , stealing , always trying to cheat , begging in the streets , giving birth to many children , being noisy and aggressive...

  • this is beautiful

  • u know not what u speak guyjo

  • Gypsies are of darvidian-australian aborigin origin, they were the lowest caste and many gypsies here in Spain have australoid features, everybody know that there are caucasoid indians in the higer castes and a mixture of caucasoid and australoid in the lowest castes, the paternal haplogroup of european gypsies is H which is the australoid marker found in high rates in india not pakistan

  • so u wlll konw we r not racist bot u guyjos or not roma ppl r n 2 call a roma a guyjo is a big insult 2 us n indians r guyjos 2 2us can u c it now n what dna bullshit can u back it up no n no 1 can y b coz is bullshit 4 we is ez we r not 1 ppl i am snake d bad gypsy man dn

  • bull

  • WOW I couldn't imagine that Romani/Roma People are so Racist???? WOW WHAT A SHOCK! SO what if your roots are Indian? To all the disbelievers do you believe in the genetic evidence? DNA? That says Romas have Indian roots. SO STOP THIS HATE.

  • 2 usaffronix u can fool some ppl some time not all ppl all the time u know n i know we do not call us rom or roma bot groom or grooma n from day 1 r god was o del or the god of the jewish ppl n 2 all of u he is a fool

  • And no, I'm not trying to fool anyone. I'm following what Professor Ian Hancock has found out. It ties in with what I know.

But yeah, I know, to many European Gypsies, these people look too and act very differently to be like them. But these people are definitely ancestor-cousins to Roma Folk everywhere.

  • (Sorry, I only found your reply to me today, 5 months after you wrote it. That's because you didn't reply by clicking the 'Reply' link. Use the 'Reply' link and I will get an email to say that you replied.)

Anyway, you don't have to believe anything I say. But come back in 5 or 10 years, and check again if you think I was trying to "fool" you.

I've got no reason to fool anyone about this; it's not like I'm being paid for it.

  • n we r not org from india n what a fool belief he will c d n

  • Wonderful ;-)

  • God, what I have been through today with this. I am a Rromani activist and I simply can not take the falsity and hate one more day, zhas ley Devlesa

  • Imbecil. These women are not gypsies.

  • Sorry, not gypsies as we know them in Europe, but "Rajasthani" gypsies, which is just how people in India call Rajasthani nomads that live in the desert and keep their traditions alive still today. Not to be mistaken with European gypsies :P

  • Comment removed

  • Im descended from English Romanies, and was interested to read comments on here. Some say we're from Nepal, some say India, some say Egypt...but we have to get our colour from somewhere. I can trace my family back to 1769 in Kent, UK. Has anyone got back further? Id love to hear from you! Kushti bok.

  • Rebekah, the short answer is: google "The Pariah Syndrome". It'll be the first hit. The author is one Professor Hancock, himself a Roma. Prof Hancock has compiled information using linguistic markers, and other methods using the strict rules of evidence.

But, yeah, I suspect a lot of Roms take one look at India and say, "No way am I the same as THOSE people." Trouble is India is a badly damaged country today. Yet for thousands of years, it was the wealthiest and best organized in the world.

  • prostitutes? are you sure

  • me dikhava kaj sare kerena lafi bashi o roma ama nikoj na khramonela pe romani chib.

  • They are so beautiful! Beautiful smiles, gorgeous clothes! Thank you for posting!

  • Both Romani and Indian people have a rich and beautiful culture. None is better or worse than the other. You are both beautiful people!

  • Post#1/NOV2-08*PLEASE READ THIS IN ORDER.

My neigbour is Indian, of the "Rajput" caste, from North West India. Thirty years ago, when he was 17, he & a Roma girl from Hungary were very much in love.

When his Roma girl spoke to her sister, he noticed that too many words were similar to his own language. But he did not investigate this fact. He also found that many of her attitudes were similar to that of his own INCLUDING not marrying outside one's own kind. [GO TO Post#2..

  • Post#2/NOV2-08*PLEASE READ THIS IN ORDER.

Her mother liked him, but her father was often away on business and didn't know about his daughter's relationship with the Indian guy, who was (and still is) intelligent, tall and still gets attention from young women. The Roma girl told him that her father would never agree to their marriage and was all ready to run away with her Indian boy. [GO TO Post#3..

  • Post#3/NOV2-08*PLEASE READ THIS IN ORDER.

But after thinking long + hard, he (the boy, now my neighbour) decided that, if he really loved her, he would want her to be happy. And he encouraged her to find a boy of her "own" kind. That itself caused a huge upset between them--he wanted to "break up" BECAUSE he loved her; and she just loved him even more because his caring showed ever more clearly how much he loved her. But that's not the point of this true story.. [GO TO POST#4..

The point of this event is that, years later, after their traumatic break up (her family moved to another country) ... years later he found out that her "kind" was Romani, whose ancestors had been worshippers of the Hindu god 'Ram' (from which the word Rom comes from); that she was a descendant of his OWN ancestors who lost their lands to Islamic invaders. [GO TO POST#5..

The language he'd heard her speak was NOT Hungarian as he had mis-believed---but a wild dialect of his OWN language. He's a really intelligent guy, and the more he found out, the more he regretted having encouraged her to find a man of "her own kind"---he HAD been "her own kind" all along!

Nowadays, this wonderfully intelligent and thoughtful guy--my neighbour---lives in a dream of what could have been.

But that's not the point of this true story. [GO TO POST#6..

The point of the story is that the ancestors of the Roma did indeed live settled lives in North Western India for thousands of years, in a society that was the wealthiest and most civilized in the world. Tracing the Romani ancestry back deeper into the past finds them in Europe itself, probably Central Europe. So one might say, that the ancestors of the Roma who arrived in Europe as wanderers 600 years ago had in fact arrived to their more ancient home. [GO TO POST#7..

So please don't anyone tell the Roma "Go back to India." Because Europe is just as much home to them. The language of the Roma is firmly Indo-European, a clear indication that their original ancestors were European.

But you know what else? The language of the Northern Indians is ALSO Indo-European; and THEIR ancestors ALSO came from Europe. I guess the Indians of the Dravidian South have a right to say to the North Indians: "Go back to Europe!"

One last point.. [GO TO POST#8..

    One last but important point..

Methinks many Roma today take one look at India, and think, THAT'S not us. Can't be!

I suspect many don't want to believe they're from a race of disorganized, poor, backward and even "corrupt" people. India was not always like this, as afore-mentioned. Ever since the Indian King Asoka set a tone for a non-violent & vegetarian society 2000 years ago, India has been a weak spot for invaders. [GO TO POST#9..

Islamic invasion&Christian "colonization" led to the looted and damaged society India is today. But if any Roma person is ashamed of having "bad" Indian genes, heed this:

    Ethnic Indians make up:

    38% of Doctors in America

    36% of NASA employees

    34% of Microsoft employees

    12% of scientists in America

    17% of Intel employees

    13% of Xerox employees

Romanies have the same genes. We just need to overcome the tricks that make us believe we're not good enough. [GO TO POST#10..

  • Gypsies with their IQ between 70-80 points can barely finish basic school in Europe. In comparison with Indian upper castes, they are a Stone Age people.

  • That, I believe, is a manipulation and/or a fabrication. Similar ploys were used in Apartheid South Africa (which still continues today--Google: Apartheid Did Not Die, John Pilger)

I can only guess what the agenda is for making Gypsy Folk appear "stone aged", but I'm aware that Gypsies in Europe today are regarded by the authorities as an expense. Extermination is not viable, so state sponsored harassment + violence is applied to encourage them to emigrate, or to suicide, which many are doing.

  • LOL

You are really an imbecile. Gypsies belonged to the lowest Indian castes and came into being as a mixture of old Caucasoids and local Indian Veddoids maybe 30 000 years ago, as the age of their paternal lineage H indicates. After the arrival of the Dravidians, the creators of the Indus Valley Civilization, they were driven out and a strict apartheid was established, because they were a sort of scum, with which a civilized man can't coexist. The scarcity of H among Dravidians proves it.

  • Several thousands of years later, Aryans followed Dravidians and separated from this Paleolithic filth via a caste system.

There is a negligible presence of H among today's upper castes in India, 10% at most. However, among the tribal groups, its percentage is close to 40%. And this is despite the thousands of years lasting coexistence of Aryans and Dravidians with these Paleolithic people.

  • I'm not sure that I'm an imbecile generally, though I am indeed an imbecile in many things.

I do definitely fit into most peoples' perceptions of a "well-read", "intelligent" person.

Regarding yourself, I see little evidence of obvious imbecility. But I think you are using whatever intelligence you have to promote an agenda, rather than the truth.

I can only guess what that agenda is, but I'm aware that Gypsies in Europe today are generally regarded by the authorities as an expense.

  • Hey, I can speak and write English. Does it mean that I come from England?

    LOL

  • I think they're hijras.

  • Banjara were never mistaken as being Egyptian so they were never called "Gypsy" and they certainly aren't "Gypsy" now. Thats like calling Roms "Banjara" instead of Roms.

  • Hmmm how gadje think ... I tell you they say Roms from India because 3 words they found a same! But I found more words in Greek, and that means they only stayed for awhile in India! And they adopted few words from everywhere ,but they are not from there, just because of that.

  • only 3 words? About 80% of the language would be closer. Roms are not proven to decend from Banjara though Banjara may have contributed amongst the ranks of the Roms. Banjara definetely are not Gypsy as Gypsy is short for Egyptian. Roms were mistaken to be Egyptian by Europeans due to thier brown eastern appearence. We are not Egyptian though.

  • I play music to my Indian friend, and he doesn't understand the language.I dont relate to they women's high voice and the turban mens.

  • There are many languages in India...I have friends from different parts of India who don't understand each others native language. India is very diverse.

  • I dont feel the connection, period.

  • He may be SOUTH Indian.

The North-West of India was the home of the ancestors of the Roma for thousands of years. But these ancestors of the Roma, like almost all North-Western Indians have ancestry in Europe going further back in time.

How do I know all this? Well the most powerful indicator is that North-West Indian languages belong to the same family as most European languages.

The SOUTH Indians are the most deeply rooted in India--and they should tell the Northerners to go Europe!LOL
