This was a great dance by Chelsea and Mark,

but when Season 12 cast was announced it was a campaign all over Pittsburgh to get Hines Ward the "W" and it worked, there was no one there that could beat the power of Steeler Nation. I heard the votes were so lobsided it wasnt even a contestt.. Hines Ward took over 95% of the votes. Steeler Nation will never be defeated.

I had forgotten what a weird season this was esp as to results.

Thinking back ... esp after viewing this dance... I had forgotten that Hines won. That was a twisted version of sentimentality being given more alue than dance. I think either Chelsea or Kirstie should have won.

Over the years, dance as the main issue has slipped away in favor of tabloid values and silly backstories. And over the years, my desire to watch the show has slipped away for that reason.

What an amazing way to end the season. These two were by far my favorite couple. In my mind, they are the winners. Not Hines. She improved week on week. This really was the perfect viennese waltz. As well as her Rumba & Freestyle.

I thought Mark said they were going to keep their dance traditional. Instead, he just used the same hip-hop moves like last time. Mark, we know you can do other styles; quit upstaging your partners! You don't see Dmitry, Lacey, or Chelsie (who were previously on SYTYCD) putting in non-ballroom moves or showing off. (Lacey did upstage Lance during their West Coast Swing in season 7, but she got yelled for it and has done her best not to do that ever again.)

@starrbeatlesqueen I think people said Lacey technically did a correct WCS, even though it was mostly about her, but I don't know much about dance. Especially that style, and neither did the judges. I think Lacey's improved somewhat in not making it so much about her, although I still think she needs to think more inside the box. She's getting better, though. Like some of the long term pros, I think it takes some of them longer to figure out this show. Mark? He needs an attitude adjustment

I didn't really pay much attention to this the first time I watch it, but listen to waht Len is telling her: "...whatever the outcome tonight you are still a fantastic dancer and I wish all the luck in the future." He's telling her she didn't win!

Technically they DID win with the overall scores (in dancing) considering they had highest score almost half the time, but the viewers voting was a whole different story. I think it was more voted out of popularity and who they viewers are most a "fan" of, not really on how they danced. They should of at least come 1st or 2nd all there dances was so creative!

But nothing can be done about it now, so congrats to hines, and we all HAVE to give Kristy some credit considering her age

They're winners for me. Popularity's the only reason why they didn't win. They absolutely deserved it. Topping the leaderboard 5/10 weeks, winning the winners-take-all-cha-cha, and Chelsea being able to nail every difficult dance step Mark's choreographed? True winner. Hines/Kym have a trophy, but Chelsea and Mark have an everlasting friendship.

I like Hines and Kirstie, but I'll keep saying Chelsea and Mark won because in my heart they did. I refuse to say otherwise.

I find it adorable the way Mark hugs Chelsea so sweetly. @1:25 Mark's arm is around her body, the other around her neck. "Okay, stop." "Babe.." *whimper* *kiss* *hug* *crying into his shoulder* But the "I'm so proud of you..." makes this even more perfect. Chelsea and Mark have the most perfect, most cutest friendship ever on DWTS. By far the sweetest moment on the show. ♥

When she did, I cried x10 harder because I knew that was the first time she's cried on the show.
